Kadena Earth Week Committee

The Kadena Earth Week Committee is co-sponsored by 18 CEG and 18 FSS. The Committee plans and organizes all of the Earth Week events.

A group dedicated to promoting "being green" for Kadena AB and all MFH residents on Okinawa. Earth Week is co-sponsored by 18 CEG and 18 FSS, with other organizations donating supplies, volunteers, or funding.

Earth Week starts tomorrow! We kick it off with EarthFest tomorrow, then we'll ride a bike, save energy, hike up a mountain, carpool, clean a jungle, give reusable bags away, clean a beach, and have fun as a family.

Check out EarthFest this Saturday (14 Apr) from 1000-1400 behind Risner. There will be fun, prizes, giveaways, games, and food! Congratulate the DoDDS Earth Day Contest winners at the Awards Ceremony at 1230!

Support Kadena's students by judging the DoDDS Earth Day Contests! Everyone is welcome to participate. Just stop by the Schilling Center Ballroom on 5 Apr from 1000-1400 to cast your ballots. The four contests are a Coloring Contest for Kindergarteners, a Poster Contest for Elementary School Students, a Found Art Contest for Middle School Students, and a Found Art Contest for High School Students. Winners will be announced during EarthFest on 14 Apr.
