建中寺（けんちゅうじ）
愛知県名古屋市東区筒井1丁目7-57

1651年に創建された、尾張徳川家の菩提寺。
遠くからも目立つ、15m位ある大きな三門。
境内には、大きな本堂、寺を建てた二代尾張藩主・徳川光友の墓所などがあります。
道路をはさんで寺の南側には公園が広がり、さらに南に行くと総門があります。

地下鉄桜通線、車道駅から、徒歩で10分

Kenchuji Temple
1-7-57 Tsutsui, Higashi-ku, Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture

The family temple of the Owari Tokugawa family, built in 1651.
A large gate about 15m tall that stands out from a distance.
The grounds include a large main hall and the grave of Mitsutomo Tokugawa, the second lord of the Owari domain who built the temple.
A park spreads across the road to the south of the temple, and further south is the main gate.

愛知県名古屋市東区

11月3日（木）～27日（日）
歴史的建造物などが残る、文化のみちエリア。
そのいろいろな施設で、コンサート、展示、クイズラリーなどのイベントが開催されます。

11月3日は、名古屋市役所や愛知県庁の特別公開。
徳川園も開園記念日で、無料開園されます。

・文化のみち
名古屋城から、東にある徳川園までの一帯は、文化のみちと呼ばれています。
江戸・明治・大正時代の建物が多く存在するエリアです。
武家屋敷のなごりや、財界人の屋敷などが、現在でも残っています。

Let's walk! Cultural Path 2022

November 3 (Thursday) to 27 (Sunday)
The cultural path area where historical buildings remain.
Events such as concerts, exhibitions, and quiz rallies are held at various facilities.

On November 3rd, the Nagoya City Hall and Aichi Prefectural Office will be open to the public.
Tokugawaen is also open for free on the anniversary of the opening of the park.

The area from Nagoya Castle to Tokugawaen in the east is called the cultural path.
This area has many buildings from the Edo, Meiji, and Taisho periods.
Remnants of samurai residences and mansions of wealthy people still remain today.

塩竈神社（しおがまじんじゃ）
愛知県名古屋市天白区御幸山1328

安産祈願の神社で有名で、名古屋市内や近隣から多くの人が参拝に訪れます。

この日も、安産祈願の夫婦や、赤ちゃんを抱えた初宮参りの家族などで、賑わっていました。

Shiogama Shrine
1328 Miyukiyama, Tenpaku Ward, Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture

The shrine is famous for praying for safe childbirth, and many people come to worship from Nagoya city and nearby areas.

On this day as well, the shrine was crowded with couples praying for a safe delivery, and families with babies visiting the shrine for the first time.

水の歴史資料館
愛知県名古屋市千種区月ケ丘1丁目1番44号

名古屋の上下水道の歴史や防災について、さまざまな資料が展示され、それらを学べる施設となっています。

入館料無料。
入口でマンホールカードが、もらえました。

屋外にも、歴代マンホールのふたなどの展示。
施設南側には、特徴的な外観をした「東山配水場5号配水池」があります。
そして南西の方角、道路の向こう側に「東山給水塔」を見ることができます。

地下鉄東山線、覚王山駅から、北に徒歩18分。

Water History Museum

Various materials on the history of water and sewage in Nagoya and disaster prevention are exhibited, and it is a facility where you can learn about them.

Free admission.
I got a manhole card at the entrance.

Exhibits such as the lids of successive manholes are also outdoors.
On the south side of the facility, there is "Higashiyama Water Distribution Station No. 5 Reservoir" with a characteristic appearance.

聴松閣（ちょうしょうかく）
愛知県名古屋市千種区法王町2丁目15

先回紹介した「揚輝荘」の南園にある、聴松閣（ちょうしょうかく）。
赤色（べんがら色）の壁がはえる山荘風の外観をした迎賓館。
昭和12年に完成。
ヨーロッパやアジアの各国様式がミックスされた建物です。

入館料300円。
一階、二階、地下階が公開されています。

一階：居間、食堂
二階：書斎、応接室、寝室
地下階：舞踏場、地下トンネル入り口

地下鉄東山線、覚王山駅から、北に徒歩約8分。
住宅地の角に、入口があります。
揚輝荘北園から来たほうが、迷わなくて良いかもしれません。

Choshokaku
2-15 Hoocho, Chikusa-ku, Nagoya-shi, Aichi

Choshokaku is located in the south garden of "Yoki-so" introduced earlier.
A guesthouse with a mountain cottage-like appearance with red walls.
Completed in 1945.
It is a building that mixes European and Asian styles.

Admission fee is 300 yen.
The first, second and basement floors are open to the public.

First floor: living room, dining room
Upstairs: study, drawing room, bedroom
Basement floor: Butoh ground, underground tunnel entrance

About an 8-minute walk north from Kakuozan Station on the Higashiyama Subway Line.
There is an entrance at the corner of the residential area.
It may be better not to get lost if you come from Yokisou Kitaen.

山崎川の桜
愛知県名古屋市瑞穂区

名古屋でも有名な桜の名所です。
パロマ瑞穂スタジアムの近くから、北へ約2.5kmにわたり
山崎川の両岸に、ソメイヨシノの桜並木が続きます。

この日（4月2日）は、くもり空でしたが
満開の桜を見ようと、たくさんの人で賑わっていました。

It is a famous cherry blossom viewing spot in Nagoya.
From near Paloma Mizuho Stadium, about 2.5km north
A row of cherry blossom trees of Yoshino cherry tree continues on both banks of the Yamasaki River.

オオカンザクラの並木道
愛知県名古屋市東区

地下鉄、高岳駅近くの「桜通泉二丁目」の交差点から
北へ全長約1.4kmほど続く、オオカンザクラの並木道。
文化のみち二葉館の前を通り、白壁の方まで続いています。

この日（3月21日）は、天気もよく
たくさんの花見客で賑わっていました。

地下鉄桜通線、高岳駅、2番出口すぐ。

Tree-lined road of Okanzakura

From the intersection of "Sakura-dori Izumi 2-chome" near Takaoka Station on the subway
A tree-lined road of Okanzakura that extends to the north for a total length of about 1.4 km.
It passes in front of the Cultural Path Futaba Museum and continues to the white wall.

揚輝荘（ようきそう）北園
愛知県名古屋市千種区法王町2丁目5番地21

揚輝荘は、松坂屋の初代社長・伊藤次郎左衛門祐民の別荘として造られました。
昭和初期には、広大な敷地に30数棟の建物がありました。
その一部が、現在でも残っています。
北園には、日本庭園、大正から昭和初期の建物などを見ることができます。
入場無料。

Yokisou Kitaen

Yoki-so was built as the villa of Ito Jirozaemon Suketami, the first president of Matsuzakaya.
In the early Showa period, there were more than 30 buildings on a vast site.
Some of them still remain today.
In the north garden, you can see the Japanese garden and the buildings from the Taisho era to the early Showa era.

下水道の仕組みや役割について、楽しんで学べる施設です。
体験型のゲームや模型で、わかりやすく解説しています。
入館料無料。

この日は、小学生のお子さんがたくさんいました。
みな、夢中になって館内を巡っていました。

施設南の屋外には、全国各地のマンホールが並んでおり

Metawater Sewerage Science Museum Nagoya

2022年のお正月は天気も良く
初詣に訪れる多くの参拝客で賑わっていました。

元日は、山田天満宮へ。
2日は、八事興正寺へ行きました。
どちらも15時くらいでしたが、行列ができていました。

JR名古屋駅の東側、JRゲートタワー前にある、巨大なクリスマスツリーです。
12月25日の土曜日まで。

クリスマスソングとともに、七色に光りました。
多くの人が足を止めて、見上げていました。
ツリーの前で記念撮影する人も、多かったです。

JR・名鉄・近鉄・地下鉄、名古屋駅から、徒歩すぐ。

Nagoya station

It is a huge Christmas tree on the east side of JR Nagoya Station, in front of the JR Gate Tower.
Until Saturday, December 25th.

It glowed in seven colors with the Christmas song.
Many people stopped and looked up.
Many people took a commemorative photo in front of the tree.

愛知県名古屋市中区大須四丁目4番1号

花や樹木に囲まれた、緑豊かな庭園です。
建物やオブジェ、池や散歩道など、写真映えするスポットも多いです。
カフェやレストランなどもあります。

久屋大通公園の南の端の方にあり
栄や大須の繁華街からも近く
入場も無料なので、気軽に訪れることができます。
この日は、犬の散歩や、スケッチ、写真や動画撮影など
いろいろな人がいました。

Hisaya Odori Garden Flarier
