A 7.5 magnitude earthquake has struck Northern Japan. Tsunami warnings and advisories are in effect.

Tsunami Warnings have been issued for Iwate prefecture, central Hokkaido’s Pacific coast, and the Pacific coast of Aomori Prefecture. Advisories have been issued for other parts of the Pacific coast of Hokkaido and Aomori prefectures, as well as Miyagi and Fukushima prefectures. Evacuate coastal and low-lying areas immediately. Monitor AFN for updates.

Contact base housing or make sure to report any damage you find. The faster you report the sooner repairs can begin.
