今日は出雲市長、教育長にサンタクララ訪問報告をしました。
団員ひとり一人がサンタクララで気付いたことや学んだことを報告。アメリカ人はとてもフレンドリー、個性を尊重し認め合う文化を実感した、自分から一歩前へ出ることの大切さを学んだ、などなど、とても貴重な気づきや体験をたくさん話してくれました。
Today, we reported our visit to Santa Clara to the Mayor and Superintendent of Education of Izumo City.
Each member of our group reported on what they noticed and learned in Santa Clara.
They shared many valuable insights and experiences, such as how friendly Americans are, how they experienced a culture that respects and accepts individuality, and how they learned the importance of taking the initiative.

SCHS hosted students from Santa Clara’s Sister City of Izumo, Japan, this morning. Our visitors shadowed an SCHS host student to a class, toured the school, and explored similarities and differences in our school systems. We love these cultural exchanges!

サンタクララ最終日、朝7時半、ホストファミリーに別れを告げて、サンフランシスコ空港から羽田、そして出雲へ。4月2日19時半、無事出雲に到着しました。
