حققت تايوان تقدمًا ملحوظًا، حيث ارتقت خمسة مراكز لتحتل المرتبة العشرين، وهو أفضل مركز لها على الإطلاق، في مؤشر النظام البيئي العالمي للشركات الناشئة لعام ٢٠٢٦، الذي أصدرته منصة الأبحاث StartupBlink في التاسع عشر من مايو.

ووفقًا لمجلس التنمية الوطني، من بين ١٢٠ دولة ومنطقة شملها التقرير، سجلت تايوان نموًا سنويًا في النظام البيئي بنسبة ٤١.١٪، وهي أعلى نسبة بين أفضل ٢٠ دولة، وتقارب ثلاثة أضعاف متوسط ​​المجموعة البالغ ١٤.٩٪.

Taiwan moved up five spots to its best-ever 20th placement in the 2026 Global Startup Ecosystem Index released May 19 by research platform StartupBlink.

According to the National Development Council, among 120 countries and territories surveyed in the report, Taiwan recorded 41.1 percent growth in its annual ecosystem growth, the highest in the top 20 and nearly three times the group average of 14.9 percent.

This reflects the strength of the local ecosystem and its pivotal role in the global network, the NDC added, attributing the strong showings to the collective efforts of the government and the local industry sector and startup ecosystem.

The FIRST GCTF workshop in Germany🇩🇪 focuses on global healthcare resilience! 🌍

Taiwan teamed up with U.S. Embassy Berlin to hold the first Global Cooperation and Training Framework workshop in Berlin, focused on global public health cooperation and healthcare resilience. Officials, experts, academics, and industry representatives from Taiwan, the US, and Germany were invited to take part, with discussions taking place on medical AI, supply chain resilience, and emergency response, as well as on how international cooperation can boost the resilience of the global health system 🤝

Representative Klement Gu stated that, in the face of contemporary global public health challenges, international cooperation has never been more important. Taiwan demonstrated its digital governance and rapid-response capabilities during the pandemic, he said, and this has been recognized around the world.

Minister of Health and Welfare Shih Chung-liang shared Taiwan's experience in harnessing technology in pandemic prevention and digital governance in healthcare, and highlighted Taiwan's contributions to the international community 💪

US representatives lauded Taiwan's performance on public health and pandemic prevention, and stressed that strengthened cooperation will help to forge a safer and more resilient tomorrow.

Taiwan will continue to strengthen cooperation with global partners through the GCTF platform, boosting global health resilience 🌐

Training Program for Healthcare Professionals in Taiwan

TIHTC was established in 2002 by the Ministry of Health and Welfare (MOHW), and has been administered by Taipei Hospital, MOHW since its inception. With the belief that “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime”, TIHTC integrates the top medical teams and resources in Taiwan and provides continuing professional development training for healthcare professionals around the world.
Renowned for its expertise in crafting training initiatives tailored to meet the needs of the trainees' career development, TIHTC ensures a targeted and insightful learning experience.
With the goal of contributing to the international community, the Center can now provide training to more than 100 international medical, healthcare, and administration personnel per year.
