Labour Day May 25, 2026 has passed, but the impact of the works will surely last. Yesterday, Councillor for the Claremont Division Kaydian Harty and her team did a lot of rehabilitation work in several communities, which will benefit residents significantly.

Works included the rehabilitation of the Prosper Hall Community Centre/green space in Claremont, a joint project between the Councillor and the Member of Parliament Dr. Kenneth Russell.

The garbage skip at crossroads Golden Grove, and the bus shed at top road Golden Grove were also rehabilitated.

A garbage skip was also built in the community of Bradfield.

As it pertains to roads, Ogle Street in Claremont was patched and marling and grading works were done on the Lumsden Road #27.
