The Corps of Military Police turned capability into a showcase today! 🔥

As the 7th Anniversary celebrations continue, today’s CMP Expo gave a closer look at the skills, expertise and capabilities that make the Corps what it is.

🐎 The Mounted Troop brought the presence
🐕‍🦺 The Military Working Dogs showed their skills in action
🔎 The Caribbean Search Centre showcased its specialist capabilities
🪖 No. 2 NP Coy and SIB brought even more to the display
🚘 And KIA Jamaica pulled up with a special guest appearance

From four legs to four wheels, there was something to see at every turn! 👀🔥

Seven years of service, growth and excellence, and the celebrations are still going.

Service beyond the uniform 🇯🇲🤝🏽

On Thursday 20 August 202y, members of the JDF Workshop and Transport Company, Support and Services Battalion, took their skills beyond the workshop and into the community during a Line of Effort activity at Watt Town Primary and Infant School.

With teamwork, technical expertise and willing hands, our service members assisted with improving the school’s infrastructure and general environment, contributing to a space where our young Jamaicans can continue to learn and grow. 🏫✨

Initiatives like these are a reminder that service extends beyond our traditional military responsibilities. It is also about showing up for our communities, strengthening the relationship between the JDF and the people we serve, and playing our part in nation building.

One team. One purpose. Making a difference where it matters. 🇯🇲

The Corps of Military Police continues to take centre stage as it celebrates its 7th anniversary, and today’s March Past was another proud moment in a week dedicated to the Corps.

With precision, discipline and unmistakable esprit de corps, members stepped off together in a strong display of unity, pride and tradition, reflecting the spirit that has defined the Corps throughout its journey.

This week is all about CMP as we celebrate the people, the service, the milestones and seven years of continued growth. ⚪️⚫️🔴

SEVEN YEARS STRONG! 🎉🙏🏽*

The celebrations have officially begun!

The Corps of Military Police (CMP) commenced its 7th Anniversary celebrations with a special Church Service, coming together in fellowship and thanksgiving to give God thanks for His continued guidance, protection and favour throughout the years.

The service provided a fitting start to this milestone celebration, allowing members to reflect on the journey of the Corps, remember the foundation upon which it was built and give thanks for the dedication and commitment of all who have contributed to its continued development.

As CMP celebrates seven years, we honour the journey, celebrate the progress and look ahead with renewed commitment to the standards, discipline and professionalism that define the Corps.

Seven (7) years down, and the journey continues! 🥳

🎖️ YOU JUST HAD TO BE THERE!🔥👏🏽

Today, the Junior Leaders’ Qualification Course (JLQC) 2026/03 officially culminated with its Passing Out Parade, and what a moment it was! 🇯🇲🫡

From the pride on parade to the cheers from the sidelines, the atmosphere said it all. Families turned out in their numbers, alongside members from across the various Units, to celebrate and support our newest qualified junior leaders. 💪🏽🎉

Weeks of training, discipline, determination and teamwork led to this moment. The course may be complete, but the responsibility to lead, influence and set the standard is only beginning. 🎓🔥

On Saturday, 22 August 2026, Gracious Givers Love In Action (Team GGL), in partnership with the JDF Support Brigade, brought care and compassion to the Dover community in St. Mary.

At Grace Christian Ministries International, back-to-school items were distributed to children, while care packages were provided to elderly residents across Dover and neighbouring communities.

A simple act of giving can make a lasting difference. 🤝🏾

🎖️ Developing Tomorrow’s Leaders

Participants of the Junior Leaders’ Qualification Course 2026/02 had the opportunity to engage with the Brigade Commander, Brigadier O. A. Bogle, during a leadership lecture.

The session offered valuable insight into leadership, command and the responsibilities that come with leading within the Jamaica Defence Force, reinforcing the standards expected of those preparing to take on greater leadership responsibilities.
