গত ৩০ শে এপ্রিল জাতীয় সংসদে প্রদত্ত বক্তব্যে মাননীয় বিরোধীদলীয় নেতা প্রশ্ন করেছেন, বাংলাদেশের একটি বন্ধুরাষ্ট্র কেন বলেছে যে তারা চরম কষ্টের সময়ে বাংলাদেশকে পাশে পায় নি।‌

এ বিষয়ে বাস্তবতা হল যে চলমান উপসাগরীয় যুদ্ধে ওই অঞ্চলের দেশগুলোতে বাংলাদেশের নীতি প্রশংসিত হয়েছে।

উদাহরণস্বরূপ, বাংলাদেশে অবস্থিত ইরানের দূতাবাস সাম্প্রতিক একটি বিবৃতিতে বাংলাদেশের ভারসাম্যমূলক ও গঠনমূলক নীতির প্রশংসা করেছে। একই বিবৃতিতে ইরানের দূতাবাস মিডিয়াতে দেওয়া বক্তব্যের টুকরা অংশকে ইচ্ছামতো প্রচারে অসন্তোষ প্রকাশ করেছে। (পূর্ণ বিবৃতি সংযুক্ত করা হলো)।

এছাড়া, বিগত ২৩ এপ্রিল ২০২৬ তারিখে ঢাকাস্থ ইরানি দূতাবাসে ইরানের জনগণের জন্য বাংলাদেশের পক্ষ থেকে জরুরি চিকিৎসা সহায়তা সামগ্রী হস্তান্তর অনুষ্ঠানে ইরানের মান্যবর রাষ্ট্রদূত জলিল রাহিমি জাহানাবাদি বাংলাদেশ ও ইরানের মধ্যে বিদ্যমান গভীর ও বন্ধুত্বপূর্ণ সম্পর্কের কথা উল্লেখ করেন এবং এই দুঃসময়ে ইরানের জনগণের প্রতি বাংলাদেশের সহমর্মিতা ও আন্তরিক সমর্থনের জন্য ধন্যবাদ জানান।..
