Jelveh Mansion - عمارت جلوه (édifice de Djelveh fr.) Constructed in 1931, at the time, it was the tallest free standing private building in the whole province of Guilan, Iran. It is named after head of the Jelveh family, Mr. Mohammad Reza Jelveh (Sr), prominent and influential lawyer in city of Rasht (Guilan, Iran) in early 1930s. rk, started in year 1925 and was completed on year 1931. The design and architecture of the building is unique in the way it was built and materials used to build with. Original architecture had 3 levels to the building. However later, one of the Jelveh descendants added an extra floor to it. The building is located on Imam Khomeini Street (Previously called Shah Street). Descendants of Mr. Jelveh tried hard to keep it within the family by purchasing the units within the building. However, it was not very successful as eventually all but on family member sold their shares and moved away.
