Review Meeting Held at Kohir Government Hospital
Vice Chairman Abdul Hannan Javed emphasized the importance of providing timely medical facilities to the public.
Kohir (15- Sep-2026) — A review meeting was conducted at the Kohir Municipal Government Hospital in Sangareddy district, presided over by Kohir Municipal Vice Chairman Abdul Hannan Javed. The hospital superintendent, Dr. Rajani, along with doctors and staff, participated in the discussion.
During the meeting, Abdul Hannan Javed addressed concerns raised by the public, stating that complaints had been received regarding limited doctor availability, which is only during morning hours. He highlighted that since Kohir Mandal is a densely populated area, doctors should conduct outpatient examinations in two shifts, including the evening, to better serve the community.
He also emphasized the need for a notice board at the hospital displaying information about available medicines and stressed that doctors and staff should treat patients with compassion and courtesy.
Hospital Superintendent Dr. Rajani requested the installation of CCTV cameras for better security and highlighted transportation difficulties faced by staff commuting from distant areas. She urged for the restoration of additional bus services to Kohir to ensure timely attendance of medical staff.
Vice Chairman Abdul Hannan Javed assured that he would approach the relevant authorities to resolve these issues and improve service provision.
Present at the meeting were Mohammad Muzaffar Hussain (President, Town Congress Kohir), Sirisha Rani (Municipal Councillor), Mohammad Firdous Sarwar (Social Activist), along with doctors and other medical staff.
