With the primary objective of providing more efficient and transparent policing services to the public, Vikarabad District Superintendent of Police, Mrs. Sneha Mehra, IPS, visited Tandur Police Station today as part of the annual inspections.

On this occasion, the SP closely examined the cleanliness of the police station premises, office administration, security of records, and the performance of personnel in the discharge of their duties. In particular, she thoroughly inspected station diaries, the progress of pending cases, rowdy sheets, suspect sheets, history sheets, the order book, beat books, the status of warrant ex*****on, records of seized properties, and the safety and security of case properties and issued several instructions to the officers.

Later, the District SP stated that officers and staff should discharge their duties in such a manner as to ensure speedy justice to victims and maintain constant accessibility so that there are no gaps between the police and the public. She made it clear that no records should be kept pending at the station and that every record must be updated from time to time.

She specifically instructed the officers to remain highly vigilant regarding the protection of women and children and cases of crimes committed against them, maintain special surveillance, and expedite legal procedures to ensure immediate justice to victims.

She further stated that night patrolling should be continued regularly by integrating scientific and technological methods and that continuous surveillance should be maintained on the movements of habitual offenders.

In view of the upcoming prestigious Bonalu and Muharram festivals, the District SP issued key guidelines to officers regarding the maintenance of law and order. She directed that CCTV surveillance be further strengthened in sensitive and important areas of the town and advised the staff to work in a manner that would bring a good name to the District Police Department.

🚨 Task Force Raids on Illegal Country Liquor Manufacturing 🚨

📍 Under the directions of Vikarabad District SP Mrs. Sneha Mehra, IPS, Task Force police led by Inspector S.K. Anwar Pasha conducted raids in Kothlapur village under Basheerabad Police Station limits.

🔹 Police seized 230 liters of ID liquor raw material and 16 kg of Novasagaram worth Rs.40,100 from two persons.

👮 The accused were taken into custody and handed over to Basheerabad Police Station for further legal action.

⚠️ Task Force Inspector S.K. Anwar Pasha warned that police raids against illegal country liquor manufacturing and sales will continue continuously in the district, and strict action will be taken against those who violate the law.

The Telangana State Formation Day celebrations were conducted with great grandeur at the District Collectorate Office. Telangana State Hon’ble Speaker Mr. Gaddam Prasad Kumar attended the event as the Chief Guest, unfurled the National Flag, and received the Guard of Honour. Addressing the gathering, he paid tribute to the martyrs and highlighted the progress achieved by Telangana as well as the future course of development.

District Collector Mr. Deepak Tiwari, District SP Mrs. Sneha Mehra, IPS, Parigi MLA Mr. Ram Mohan Reddy, Tandur MLA Mr. Manohar Reddy, other public representatives, and senior officials participated in the celebrations in large numbers. On this occasion, cultural performances presented by students captivated the audience.

The special stalls set up by the District Police Department emerged as a major attraction during the celebrations. The stalls of She Teams, which play a key role in maintaining public safety and security, the Bharosa Centre stall that provides support to victims, the ITCT stall of the IT Wing, and the DAR stalls, along with the exhibition of a state-of-the-art forensic vehicle organized by the Clues Team, received an overwhelming response from visitors.

The Dog Squad Show and Dog Hurdles demonstrations presented by the Police Department also mesmerized the spectators. As part of the concluding ceremony, 10 outstanding police officers who had exhibited exceptional performance in their duties in the District Police Department were presented with Certificates of Appreciation by the Hon’ble Speaker, the District Collector, the District SP, and other dignitaries, in recognition of their dedicated services.

On the occasion of Telangana State Formation Day, District SP Mrs. Sneha Mehra, IPS, unfurled the National Flag and received the Guard of Honour at the program organized at the District Police Parade Ground. On this occasion, she conveyed her Telangana State Formation Day greetings to the people of the district, police officers, and personnel. Thereafter, the SP stated that Telangana State, which was achieved as a result of numerous struggles and sacrifices, has been developing rapidly in all sectors since its formation, and being a part of that development is a matter of pride for all of us.

The SP further stated that the recent declaration by the Hon’ble DGP that Telangana is a “Maoist-Free State” is the greatest achievement of the Police Department and a matter of pride for everyone. She said that Telangana Police has secured the Number One position in the country in the utilization of modern technology and the adoption of scientific methods. She appreciated that, through professional commitment, courteous behaviour towards the public, and prompt public service, our police have become a role model for the entire nation.

The SP expressed her appreciation for the performance of the police personnel who are working tirelessly day and night to maintain law and order in the district. With the objective of providing more efficient and transparent policing services to the public, Vikarabad District Superintendent of Police, Mrs. Sneha Mehra, IPS, visited Dharur Police Station today and conducted a detailed inspection.

On this occasion, she examined the cleanliness of the station premises, office administration, maintenance of records, security of documents, and the performance of police personnel in the discharge of their duties. In particular, she thoroughly inspected station diaries, progress of pending cases, rowdy sheets, suspect sheets, history sheets, order books, beat books, ex*****on status of warrants, records of seized properties, and the safety and maintenance of case properties, among other important aspects.

Subsequently, the District SP stated that instructions had already been issued to police officers to work in a manner that ensures prompt justice to the public and continuous accessibility without any gap between the police and the people. She mentioned that the performance of police station staff, delivery of services, and related aspects are being reviewed at the field level to ensure that no difficulties arise in providing justice to the public.

She clarified that these inspections are being conducted to ensure that there are no interruptions in the delivery of services to the people. She directed the officers to give special emphasis to the use of technology and to regularly monitor the functioning of Dial-100 tabs, the CCTNS registration process, and data updation procedures. She also instructed that the 5S management system should be implemented effectively in police stations and that every complaint and case detail should be entered online promptly and updated regularly.

Finally, the SP conducted a special meeting with the station staff and reviewed their performance. She emphasized that every complainant visiting the police station should be received courteously, their grievances should be heard patiently, and legal assistance should be provided without delay. She reminded the staff that earning the trust and confidence of the public is the primary responsibility of every police officer and personnel.

The SP further stated that similar inspections will be conducted in all police stations across the district in the future and advised all personnel to work in coordination and provide better services to the public.

👮 Vikarabad District SP Mrs. Sneha Mehra, IPS, inspected the parade rehearsals being conducted at the District Collectorate in connection with the official Telangana Formation Day celebrations to be held on June 2.

She instructed the police officers and personnel participating in the parade to perform their duties with discipline and punctuality and ensure the successful conduct of the parade.

A grand farewell felicitation program was organized at the District Police Office for Narendra Reddy, who is retiring from service today while serving as a Sub-Inspector (SI) in the DCRB section at the District Police Headquarters. District SP Mrs. Sneha Mehra, IPS, attended the program and felicitated Narendra Reddy by presenting him with a memento as a mark of honor and appreciation.

The SP specially congratulated Narendra Reddy, who started his career in the Police Department as a Police Constable (PC) and rose to the level of Sub-Inspector, rendering nearly 42 years of long and unblemished service. Speaking on the occasion, the District SP stated that completing 42 years of dedicated service in the Police Department is not an ordinary achievement and can only be accomplished with great patience, discipline, and commitment towards the profession. She mentioned that his journey from the level of Constable to SI would remain an inspiration to the present generation of young police personnel.

The SP expressed her wishes that Sri Narendra Reddy should spend his retired life peacefully, happily, and in good health along with his family members. She also wished that he would enjoy memorable and joyful moments with his family. The SP stated that the services rendered by him to the Police Department would always be remembered.

👮‍♀️ At the instructions of Vikarabad District SP Mrs. Sneha Mehra, IPS, and as part of ongoing efforts for crime control and maintenance of law & order, a “Special Drive” was conducted in Vikarabad Town under the supervision of Vikarabad DSP Anjaiah.

🚸 Child Safety & Rescue:
A 15-year-old boy found moving under suspicious circumstances near the Railway Station was identified during the drive. Upon inquiry, his name was Srikanth, a resident of Rukmapur, Peddemul mandal,it was revealed that he had run away from home. Police ensured his safety and 🤝 reunited him with his parents.

🚔 Old Offender Apprehended:
During inspections conducted jointly with the Papillon Division Team, an old offender (Involved in a vehicle theft case of Narsingi PS) was identified his name as Narsimlu a resident of Tandur and he was taken into custody.

*Vikarabad District SP Smt. Sneha Mehra, IPS, inspected the security arrangements near the Eidgahs on the occasion of Bakrid festival*.

Vikarabad District SP Smt. Sneha Mehra, IPS, stated that elaborate security arrangements have been made under the supervision of the Police Department to ensure that the Bakrid festival is celebrated peacefully in Vikarabad district. As part of this, she personally inspected the bandobast arrangements made today at the Old Tandur Eidgah and Alampally Eidgah in Vikarabad town.

Speaking on the occasion, the District SP stated that all necessary precautionary measures have been taken in coordination with other government departments to ensure that Muslim brothers attending the prayers at the Eidgahs do not face any inconvenience.Appealing to all people to celebrate the festival in a peaceful atmosphere and with brotherhood, the District SP conveyed Bakrid festival greetings to all Muslim brothers participating in the Bakrid prayers.

Later, the SP greeted the children who came for prayers near the Eidgahs by wishing them “Eid Mubarak” and distributed chocolates to the children.
