✨ Inauguration of New Office Building – SRO Kakinada ✨
We are delighted to share that the new office building of the Sub-Regional Office (SRO), Kakinada, was formally inaugurated on 14th March 2026 by Smt. Sunitha Bhaskar, ADG, NSO (FOD).
The occasion was graced by the esteemed presence of Shri Anupam Lahiri, DDG, C&QCD and Shri Satish, DDG, RO Vijayawada, along with other distinguished officers including Shri Divyanshu Mishra (DD), Shri P. Rajasekhar, AD (SRO Visakhapatnam), Shri V. Ratna Kumar, HO & SSO (RO Vijayawada), and Shri B. Srinivasa Rao, HO & SSO (SRO Kakinada) along with some retired officials of this Regional Office.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from officers and staff of RO Vijayawada, SRO Visakhapatnam, and SRO Kakinada, including SSOs, JSOs, in-charges, and regular staff members, making it a truly memorable and collective occasion.
The inauguration ceremony began with traditional rituals performed by the ADG Madam, marking an auspicious start to the functioning of the new office building. This was followed by an interactive session, where ADG Madam and DDG Sir engaged with the staff, sharing valuable insights, guidance, and encouragement for strengthening statistical operations.
The new office building stands as a significant milestone in enhancing infrastructure and improving the efficiency of field operations in the region.
