The Namaz-e-Janaza will be offered after Magrib prayer at Jama Masjid, Tirupattur.

May Almighty Allah accept all his good deeds, forgive his shortcomings, grant him the highest place in Jannatul Firdaus, and give his family and loved ones strength and patience to bear this great loss. Ameen.

The Welfare Party condemned the Vaniyambadi Municipality for irresponsibly handling pothole repairs. Even after temporarily filling the pothole, the road remains congested and in the same poor condition. The Vaniyambadi Welfare Party demands that the municipal authority renovate the culvert as soon as possible.

Subject: Urgent complaint regarding poor construction quality and incomplete cement road at Gudu Bhai Street

Respected Sir,

We are writing to your esteemed office on behalf of the Welfare Party of India and the aggrieved residents of ward 21 Gudu Bhai Street, Muslimpur, Vaniyambadi to bring a matter of grave concern regarding the recently executed civic infrastructure work in our locality to your immediate attention.

Recently, the work of laying a new concrete/cement road was undertaken on Gudu Bhai Street. While the residents were initially relieved and grateful for this infrastructural upgrade, we were deeply shocked to observe that within just hours of completion, major cracks have already started appearing across the newly laid surface. This clearly points toward substandard materials and highly negligent workmanship by the assigned contractor.

Furthermore, an incredibly critical issue remains completely unresolved: an approximate 10-feet stretch of the road has been left entirely unpaved, skipping the cement laying altogether. This specific incomplete segment connects Gudu Bhai Street directly to the busy state highway.

As captured in the attached photographic evidence, this unlaid 10-foot gap has already transformed into a massive, waterlogged mud pit. This stretch is a vital thoroughfare used daily by school autorickshaws, school vans, two-wheelers,

and numerous other vehicles.

Given that public funds have been utilized for this project, the community deserves a safe, fully completed, and durable road. We earnestly request you to conduct an immediate inspection of this site so as to advise to correct the required spots of the road & to penalize the responsible contractor for the instant cracking of the surface, and issue strict orders to urgently lay the remaining 10-feet cement road connection to the state highway.

Welfare Party of India, Vaniyambadi, to bring a critical public safety issue to your immediate attention. The culvert located near Islamia Boys School in the Fort area has been heavily damaged and is currently in a highly hazardous condition.

We wish to highlight a matter of grave concern regarding this specific route: students from more than five different schools cross this exact path on a daily basis. During morning and evening rush hours, this stretch sees massive pedestrian and vehicular traffic. The structural compromise of the culvert puts the lives and safety of hundreds of young, school- going children at significant risk.

If left unattended, the damage could worsen, completely cutting off the route or, worse, leading to a tragic accident involving the students.

Therefore, we strongly urge the Vaniyambadi Municipality authorities to urgently inspect the site and initiate immediate repair or reconstruction work. Protecting the safety of our children and ensuring a secure commuting environment must be our highest priority.

Today, leaders and cadres of the Welfare Party of India, Vaniyambadi, submitted an urgent petition to the Municipal Commissioner regarding a critical public safety issue.

The Municipal Commissioner acknowledged the gravity of the situation and assured us that immediate action will be taken to inspect and repair the culvert.
We will continue to follow up until a secure commuting environment is ensured for our children. Please refer to the attached petition

We requested the immediate repair of the severely damaged and hazardous culvert near Islamia Boys School, Fort.

Welfare Party of India Delegation Meets Vaniyambadi MLA Over Local Issues 🤝

VANIYAMBADI: A high-level delegation from the Welfare Party of India (WPI) - Vaniyambadi Unit met with the Honorable Vaniyambadi Assembly MLA today at the MLA constituency office.

The delegation submitted a formal representation highlighting two critical civic issues affecting the residents of our town:

🏞️ Naivasal Ladies Park: demand a re-open of the Abdul Wahab Naivasal Ladies Park for women and children.

🚰 Town Water Crisis:
The pressing drinking water scarcity across various wards in the town and the need for an immediate, sustainable solution.

📝 MLA’s Assurance
The Vaniyambadi MLA received the petition warmly, listened to the grievances raised by the WPI leadership, and assured that swift action will be taken as soon as possible to resolve both issues.
