It is completely false that any farmer from Gurdaspur was present in the meeting claimed by the government. Not even a single farmer from Gurdaspur attended. If the government genuinely wants to know the truth, they can appoint any independent authority to record the statements of the farmers. The farmers of Gurdaspur have already submitted written objections to the District Magistrate, clearly opposing the land pooling scheme. The government is misusing this scheme to benefit its close associates and turning it into a business opportunity, rather than addressing the real needs of the people.
All the farmers owning the 80 acres are now preparing to hold a press conference to expose how the government is spreading false information and how deeply corruption is involved in this scheme.
