𝗝𝗼𝗯 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗢𝘄𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗖𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗱 – 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻 𝟮𝟰 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀

On 10-03-2026, a complaint was received from Dulipadu Akshaya @ Sai Shruthi (23 yrs), HR Executive at Best Group of Services Job Consultancy, Engineers Colony, Hyderabad, stating that an unknown male visited their office and demanded a refund regarding a job arranged through the consultancy. The complainant seated him in the counselling room and informed the owner Jaggavarapu Shashi Kiran Reddy (35 yrs).

During the discussion, the accused suddenly attacked with a knife. At about 14:25 hrs, he came out of the room and stabbed the complainant on her left shoulder, after which she ran out for safety. The accused fled the scene. Staff later entered the counselling room and found Jaggavarapu Shashi Kiran Reddy lying with multiple stab injuries. He was shifted to hospital where doctors declared him brought dead. A case was registered in Cr. No. 184/2026 of PS Madhura Nagar under relevant sections of BNS.

Based on technical clues and field intelligence, police apprehended the accused Pollamari Setty Prabhu Kumar @ Shanu (19 yrs) near Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. During apprehension, police seized the knife used in the offence, an iPhone-15 and four stolen mobile phones from his possession.

The accused was produced before the Hon’ble Court and remanded to judicial custody on 12-03-2026. Investigation is being carried out by Inspector H. Prabhakar, PS Madhura Nagar, under the guidance of ACP Banjara Hills Division, Jubilee Hills Zone, Hyderabad City.
