National Service Scheme, Miranda House participated in the ‘National Adventure Camp 2023’ representing the ‘Delhi Unit’ in Manali, lasting for 10 days and attended by volunteers throughout the country. The camp offered a range of thrilling activities, and these are the captured adventurous moments. Participants enjoyed trekking in the stunning mountains, river-crossing in the beautiful Beas River, wall and rock climbing amidst the hills of Manali, experiencing the beauty of nature. Miranda House NSS members explored the natural allure of manali, making lasting memories and building friendships while facing outdoor challenges. The camp wasn’t just about physical activities; it also helped people grow personally, teaching teamwork, persistence, and respect for nature. From climbing peaks to forming lifelong bonds, the Manali adventure camp showed the spirit of exploration and friendship that defines NSS ethos.

National Service Scheme Miranda House, in collaboration with Young India Foundation, orchestrated an impactful initiative on National Voters Day, January 25, 2024.

With the impending General Elections on the horizon, the event served as a pivotal platform for the youth in colleges, fostering voter registration desks that empowered students to actively participate in shaping the nation's future. The collaboration brought together the enthusiasm of NSS Miranda House and the expertise of Young India Foundation, creating an informative and engaging space where students could register to vote and gain insights into making informed choices.

Marking a significant milestone in civic engagement, the event underscored the importance of youth voices in the democratic process. Those who attended were part of a transformative experience that showcased the commitment of Miranda House's NSS to civic responsibility and active participation. National Service Scheme, Miranda House have successfully done voter registration of 15+ people.

"Promoting a culture of cleanliness at Miranda House, Delhi University!"

Recent cleanliness drive conducted by NSS saw enthusiastic participation from the residents, as we collectively worked towards maintaining a pristine living environment. Through teamwork and dedication, we swept away clutter, organized spaces, and fostered a sense of responsibility for our surroundings.

The initiative aimed not only at enhancing the visual appeal of our hostel but also at cultivating a hygienic and healthy living atmosphere. RAAS'23 was an event that celebrated love, laughter, joy and tradition. What made it stand out were the kids from Hakikat Park teaching centre of NSS Miranda House who were definitely the stars of the evening. The joy on their faces, them dancing to the beats of loud music was enough to bring a smile on all of our faces.🤍🫶🏻
