At Mission Hospital in Tezpur today, the team of snake rescuer and wildlife conservationist Saurav Borkotoki extended special love and appreciation to Dr. Shafini Bery and 9-year-old child Sufian.
It is noteworthy that a few years ago, Dr. Shafini Bery saved the life of an 8-year-old child through timely medical treatment. The child had been bitten by a venomous snake and was brought to Dr. Bery for treatment. Through excellent medical care, Dr. Bery successfully helped the child recover. The recovery of an 8-year-old child after a venomous snakebite was considered the first such case of its kind in India at that time.
Meanwhile, today, the Saurav Borkotoki Team also conveyed their best wishes to 9-year-old Sufian by presenting him with a traditional Assamese gamosa. It may be recalled that two days ago, following the prompt efforts of the Saurav Borkotoki Team, Sufian was taken to the hospital for treatment after being bitten by a snake.
