The Startup Cell at Supaul College of Engineering (SCE, Supaul) successfully organized a comprehensive workshop on IPR, GST, Incorporation, and Contracts at Womens ITI, Supaul!

This high-impact session was part of the mega "Legal & Compliance Clinics" initiative being conducted across all 47 Startup Cells in the 38 districts of Bihar to build sustainable, investment-ready startups.

On 20th May 2026, Startup Bihar successfully conducted the “Legal & Compliance Clinics” simultaneously across all 38 District Startup Cells of Bihar, empowering aspiring entrepreneurs and startups with critical legal, taxation, IPR, and compliance knowledge.

The workshop covered:

Yesterday was something special. We took the SCE Startup Cell outreach mission to S.V.K. +2 Girls High School in Pratapganj, and the energy from these young women was honestly on another level. It’s one thing to talk about innovation in a college classroom, but seeing the curiosity and ambition in these high school students really reminds you why we do this.

None of this would be moving forward without the constant push and vision of our Faculty Incharge, Prof. Shadab Azam Siddique. He’s essentially the backbone of this entire initiative. He doesn’t just manage the cell; he’s the one who makes sure we’re actually out here in the community, creating a real impact and reaching the people who need this information the most. His leadership is what keeps us motivated to turn Supaul into a real hub for innovation.

Under his guidance, our Startup Coordinator Mr. Pradeep Kumar led a fantastic session on the Bihar Startup Policy 2022. He really focused on the "job giver" mindset, and it was incredible to see the girls engage with the idea of building their own futures. We also spent a lot of time discussing the Bihar Laghu Udyami Yojna, and you could tell how much it meant to the students to hear about the ₹2 Lakh grant available to help their families kickstart micro-enterprises.

The best part was the interactive Q&A. These students weren't shy at all—they were throwing out sharp questions and pitching ideas that we helped them refine into "startup-ready" concepts. Huge thanks to the Principal, and the entire staff for the warm welcome. Seeing the next generation of female leaders in Bihar get excited about entrepreneurship makes us even more pumped for the next session!
