WHOM SHOULD WE BLAME FOR DISMAL PERFORMENCE OF STUDENTS IN RECENTLY DECLEARD RESULTS OF 10TH BOARD EXAMNATION 2016-2017.STUDENTS ,TEACHERS, HEADS OF INSTITUTIONS, DEPARTMENT OR UNREST OF KASHMIR?
The circular recently issued by worthy DIRECTOR School Education kashmir regarding stern action againest Teachers whose students have shown poor performance in 10TH class examnations,is actualy Mockery and an insult of the noble profession by worthy Director. Its realy worth mention here that the circular issued by Directorate shows resentment againest intelectual class of society and also hast decision.Directorate should have findout reasons and factors of this problem instead of targeting and insulting Holly profesion. Each and everybody know that last year unrest was in such a peak that schools and colleges were turned as bettle feilds. It was student vs .....?How could one hope that in such a atmosphere students wil bring laurels? Apart from that teachers were ruthlessly beaten.Furthermore Teachers are no longer teachers but Department have turned them as multipurpuse workers because of our nonacaedimic assignments like MDM ,ICT, SCHOOL NODAL OFFICER,BLO,ACCOUTANT sometimes peon aswel.Further more Capacity Building trainings during mid of session also hinders the accadmics of a teacher. Finally i would like to make my point here that if a GOVT teacher managed to get 45% results it must be appriciated as the infra structure & the raw meterial that we have in school in terms of students are socialy, economicaly, weak and underprivlge section of society while as in private institution thre are cream and slected grup of students having strong and affulent famly and informal learning support. My earnest appeal to worthy director to frame a commitee & look at the metter deeply and understand the real cause of failiure.Remedial class is not ultimate solution of problem.I request worthy Director sir to revoke some contents of circular regarding suspension of teachers who have below 20% results as This will create a problem not solve it.The only way to streamline the system is to spare teachers from nonacadimic assignments and appriciate them.
