: Peer Ki Gali Accide۔۔۔۔nt: 3 Army Personnel Injured in Road Mishap

A road accident has been reported from Peer Ki Gali area on the Mughal Road, where three army personnel of 20 Rashtriya Rifles were injured after their vehicle reportedly met with an accident.

According to initial reports, the accident occurred in the Peer Ki Gali sector when an army vehicle lost control on the road under unclear circumstances. Three army personnel belonging to 20 RR sustained injuries in the incident.

In the Check Masjid Ramnagri water issue, the Jal Shakti PHE Division Shopain has taken immediate action by suspending the concerned employees and initiating an inquiry after Shah Mujtaba BJP General Secretary Shopian raised the matter and requested the worthy AExEn PHE to take strict action.
Clean drinking water is a basic right of the public. Such negligence should never be tolerated. It is hoped that strict action will be taken against all those found responsible so that such incidents are never repeated in future.

*Pulwama Police Arrests Drug Peddler; Contraband Recovered*

May 11`````Pulwama Police achieved another success in its ongoing drive against drug trafficking by apprehending a drug peddler during naka checking at Lassipora.

A police party of Police Station Litter laid a naka near Block Office Lassipora and intercepted a motorcyclist travelling from SIDCO Lassipora towards Lassipora Chowk for checking. The motorcycle bearing registration number JK22C-1351 was subjected to search during which approximately 204 grams of charas sticks-like substance was recovered from his possession.

Accordingly, FIR No. 57/26 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Litter and further investigation has been taken up.

Pulwama Police remains committed towards eradicating the menace of drugs from society and appeals to the general public to cooperate with police by sharing any information related to drug peddling or other unlawful activities.
