Inauguration of HPCDPR at Haroli | 17 March 2026

A significant milestone in strengthening disaster preparedness in Himachal Pradesh.

The Himachal Pradesh Centre for Disaster Preparedness and Resilience (HPCDPR) at Haroli was formally inaugurated by Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri on 17th March 2026.

This training centre under HP SDRF marks a proactive step towards building community resilience, enhancing response capabilities, and fostering a culture of preparedness across the state.

HPSDRF defends the trophy and secures 1st Position again in the All India CSSR Competition 2026. Dedication, teamwork and courage.”

The team of the Himachal Pradesh State Disaster Response Force (HP SDRF) has once again created history by securing first position the National CSSR Competition held at the 8th Battalion NDRF Campus in Ghaziabad from **9th to 11th March 2026**.

The HP SDRF team has won this competition for second year in a row.

Team finished first amongst 30 teams from 27 states and Union territories.

In the process the team also surpassed their own previous record, completing the competition in a record time of 41 minutes, which highlights their efficiency, preparedness, and operational excellence.

In the final standings of the Competition, HP SDRF secured the first position, followed by Uttar Pradesh SDRF in second place and Andhra Pradesh SDRF in third place.

SSP SDRF Sh Arjit Sen Thakur, IPS was handed over the trophy by Sh Govind Mohan, Union Home Secretary in the presence of Sh. Piyush Anand, DG NDRF bringing immense pride and recognition to the state of Himachal Pradesh.

With this historic back-to-back national victory, HP SDRF has firmly established itself as one of the finest and most capable State Disaster Response Forces in the country.
