*DC Reasi meets representatives of NGOs, appreciates their work*

REASI, SEPTEMBER 07: Deputy Commissioner , Charandeep Singh today held a meeting with the representatives of various NGOs working for welfare of people in district Reasi.

Threadbare discussions were held on various issues pertaining to the working of NGOs wherein the Deputy Commissioner appreciated the efforts being put in place by NGOs for the welfare of society.

Charandeep Singh called for better synchronization between administration and NGOs and assured them of all possible support from District Administration.

Highlighting their role and contribution in society, the Deputy Commissioner said that NGOs and Civil Society together act as the supporting pillars of the Administration and help in reaching out the underprivileged sections and those at the last mile besides enhancing the efficacy of welfare schemes and programmes.

Deputy Commissioner also urged upon NGO representatives to actively participate in the 'Project MADAD'-for differently abled persons to ensure its success.

*District Admin. Launches 8 E-services of Revenue Department at Reasi*

*District Administration is committed towards providing efficient, transparent & effective service delivery at citizens' doorsteps: DC Reasi*

Reasi SEPT-03-: Deputy Commissioner Reasi Charandeep Singh today launched 8 E- Services of Revenue Department.

On this ocassion, Charandeep Singh said that the District Administration Reasi has taken several Information Technology enabled service initiatives, (ITes) which are helping to deliver the public welfare services in an effective, efficient and transparent manner.

After launching the e-services, the DC informed that eight e- services are functioning in the district which include issuance of OBC certificates, Resident of Back Area certificates , Actual Line of Control, Schedule Caste/Schedule Tribe Certificate, Character Certificate, Issuance of dependent Certificate, Legal Heir Certificate, Marriage Certificate, Income certificate, Income & Assets certificate for Economically Weaker Sections of the society.

Charandeep Singh emphasized that these E services save the time of common masses, besides ensuring hassle free services to the people of the District in a fast and transparent manner.
Deputy Commissioner also said that NIC is playing a pivotal role in managing and providing all technical support for smooth running of the IT Enabled services in the District.

The DC appealed the general public of the district to come forward and avail the maximum benefits of these e-services. The DC added that Reasi Administration is trying to provide maximum online services to the common masses of the District as per the directives of the Government.
