Had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Yogesh Kulkarni ji, Director of Vigyan Ashram, and it was an incredibly energizing experience! His wealth of experience in the development sector truly enriched our minds and left us feeling confident and inspired.
One of the most thrilling aspects of our conversation was learning about the remarkable growth of Fab Lab. They're making waves in Uttar Pradesh, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Karanataka, collaborating closely with respective state governments. The impact they're having on innovation and skill development is simply phenomenal.
For those who aren't familiar, Vigyan Ashram is a beacon in the world of rural technology. They nurture individuals' entrepreneurial aspirations by providing hands-on skills and technical expertise. Their ethos is all about daring to see things differently and turning ideas into reality for the betterment of humanity. Gender, education, age—these are just numbers, not obstacles.
FabLabs, or digital fabrication laboratories, are where the magic happens. They're playgrounds for creativity, innovation hubs where anyone can learn, mentor, and invent. With access to cutting-edge technology, materials, and skills, Fab Labs empower individuals to create almost anything.
The visit significantly contributed to the development of the Pranavikas Foundation, enriching our understanding and expanding our network within the development sector.
