National Sports Day celebrated today at Boys High School (BHS) Andergam in collaboration with Sheikul Alam Model Public School, Andergam, with great enthusiasm and active participation. Nearly 200 students participated.
The celebration witnessed tremendous excitement among the students, who participated wholeheartedly in various sports activities and events. The active involvement and encouragement of the teaching and supporting staff further added to the spirit of the occasion.
The programme highlighted the importance of sports, physical fitness, teamwork, discipline and sportsmanship in the overall development of students.
The day also served as a tribute to the legendary hockey player Major Dhyan Chand, whose remarkable contribution to Indian sports continues to inspire generations.
