Iranian Researcher Takes Editorial Role at International Publishing House
An Iranian agricultural researcher has been appointed editor-in-chief at the international scientific publisher Pandawa Institute, marking a new step in cross-border academic collaboration.
Hamed Kioumarsi, a researcher at Iran’s Agricultural Research, Education and Extension Organization (AREEO), has assumed the role of editor-in-chief at Pandawa Publishing, an academic publisher based in Indonesia that produces scholarly journals and books and hosts international conferences.
Speaking about the appointment, Kioumarsi said the role reflects the increasingly international nature of academic work. “Modern science depends on international collaboration,” he explained. “Editorial work goes beyond overseeing journals; it involves fostering communication and exchange among researchers from diverse regions and scholarly traditions.”
Pandawa Institute works with authors and reviewers from multiple countries and publishes research indexed in international databases such as Scopus and CrossRef. Kioumarsi indicated that this diversity was a decisive factor in his acceptance of the position, noting his interest in contributing to a platform that integrates perspectives from both established and emerging research communities.
