ଜଙ୍ଗଲ ସୁରକ୍ଷା ଓ ଜୈବବିବିଧତାର ସଂରକ୍ଷଣରେ ବନାଞ୍ଚଳ ଅଧିବାସୀଙ୍କ ଭୂମିକା ଅତ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ। କାମ୍ପା ପାଣ୍ଠି ସହାୟତାରେ ସେମାନେ ଜଙ୍ଗଲର ନିୟମିତ ପାଟ୍ରୋଲିଂ କରିବା ସହ ଅବୈଧ କାଠକଟା ଓ ବନ୍ୟଜନ୍ତୁ ଶିକାର ରୋକିବା, ବୃକ୍ଷରୋପଣ ଏବଂ ଜଙ୍ଗଲ ପୁନରୁଦ୍ଧାର କାର୍ଯ୍ୟରେ ସକ୍ରିୟ ଭାବେ ସାମିଲ ହେଉଛନ୍ତି।

ଜଙ୍ଗଲରେ ବନ୍ୟପ୍ରାଣୀଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଜଳର ଉପଲବ୍ଧତା ସୁନିଶ୍ଚିତ କରିବା ଓ ଜୈବବିବିଧତାର ସୁରକ୍ଷା ପାଇଁ କାମ୍ପା ପାଣ୍ଠି ସହାୟତାରେ ରାଜ୍ୟର ବିଭିନ୍ନ ଜଙ୍ଗଲ ଅଞ୍ଚଳରେ ଜଳାଶୟ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରାଯାଉଛି।

ଏହି ପଦକ୍ଷେପ ଦ୍ୱାରା ବନ୍ୟପ୍ରାଣୀଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଜଳର ଉପଲବ୍ଧତା ବଢ଼ିବା ସହ ଜଳଚର ଜୀବଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଆବାସ ଓ ଖାଦ୍ୟର ଉତ୍ସ ସୃଷ୍ଟି ହେଉଛି। ଏହା ଜଙ୍ଗଲର ପ୍ରାକୃତିକ ପରିବେଶ ସନ୍ତୁଳନ ଓ ଜୈବବିବିଧତାର ସୁରକ୍ଷାରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ସହାୟକ ହେଉଛି।
