17/11/21: As part of SVEEP activities an Extempore speech competition for Higher Secondary School and College students of the District was organised by the Office of the Deputy Commissioner (Elections), Ri Bhoi District. Participants from 3 Colleges and 8 HSS from the District took part and they spoke enthusiastically on various topics around democracy and electoral participation.

01/11/2021: The Deputy Commissioner (Elections), Ri Bhoi District today published and handed over the integrated draft electoral roll to the representatives of political parties.
On the same occasion, Anthony Syiem (MMA fighter), Kyntiewlin Mawphniang (singer, songwriter) and Iaishan Dkhar (Blind football player) were introduced and felicitated as the youth icons for the District's SVEEP campaign.
