National Road safety short film Festival Chhattisgarh Promoting Road Safety in Chhattisgarh.

NATIONAL ROAD SAFETY SHORT FILM FESTIVAL

 The film can be a documentary, experimental, narrative, fiction, non-fiction, or animation. The original film should be based on the Road Safety theme of the highest quality
possible (1920x1080 or above).

 There are no entry fees for participating in the ‘National Road Safety Short Film
Festival, Chhattisgarh’ and no one from the organizing team will

ever ask for any
kind of charges.

 The participant has to be 18 years and above.

 Maximum three entries are allowed for one participant.

 Total duration of the film can be a maximum of 120 seconds (2 minutes) in length,
including front and end credits.

 The ‘National Road Safety Short Film Festival, Chhattisgarh’ will accept submissions
in two categories – (a) Chhattisgarhi language (Chhattisgarhi, Gondi, Dhruva, Bhatari,
Dorali, Sambalpuri, Kudukh, Sadari, Baigani, Kamari, Auriya, Saragujiya, Dantevada
Gondi, Bhujiya, etc) & (b) Hindi language, subtitles in Hindi is a must for all the entries.

 Short films that are submitted must be the entrants’ original work and shall not infringe
on any copyrights or any other rights of any third parties. Contestants agree that they
have obtained all required permissions regarding music, sound, and/ or images
presented in their short films.

 Any kind of social discrimination and adult content will not be entertained and lead
to disqualification from the ‘National Road Safety Short Film Festival,
Chhattisgarh’.

 Chhattisgarh Police and Inter-Departmental Lead Agency (Road Safety) has the right
to use the entries ( sent/ selected /nominated films) and materials from the film for Festival
promotional purposes, and to retain copies of each film as part of our festival library.

 All the entries whether awarded or not can be used for road safety awareness without
commercial interest by Chhattisgarh Police & associated agencies.

 Films once selected & submitted for final screening will not be allowed to be withdrawn
under any circumstances until the festival is over.

 A digital poster (social media creative) of the film needs to be enclosed with the entry. The materials submitted shall not be returned to the entrant.

 Films should be submitted before the deadline and any late submission will not be
accepted under any circumstances.

 ‘National Road Safety Short Film Festival, Chhattisgarh’ will not be responsible for
any physical and material loss or damage, misdirection, theft, or misappropriated entries.

 Entry Forms with incorrect/inadequate/illegible/ambiguous/incomplete particulars will
not be considered. The festival committee reserves the right to accept or refuse any film
without assigning any reason whatsoever.

 Once the film is submitted for selection will be considered as final and no changes will
be entertained after submission.

 The jury's assessment will be final for selecting the winners (first, second and third).

 No contestant shall appeal against the jury's decision.

 On the main event day, at least one member per participating team must be present. (We would love to have the whole team for the main event day)
 The costs of transportation and lodging are the participant's responsibility. There will be
no payment or other form of compensation.

 Short films that are submitted must be the entrants’ original work and shall not infringe

have obtained all required permissions regarding music, sound, and/ or images
presented in your short film.

 A self-declaration form (provided by us) about the originality of the content has
to be mandatorily signed and attached by the participant while submitting the short
film.

 By entering the Festival, the entrant agrees that ‘National Road Safety Short Film
Festival, Chhattisgarh’ will not be held liable for any copyright infringements
perpetrated by you or your short film.

 ‘National Road Safety Short Film Festival, Chhattisgarh’ reserves the right to not
screen any film(s) for any reason it deems valid. The entrants may also run the risk of
being prosecuted as per the Indian Criminal Procedure Code and the Indian Media Law
for any offense or infringement.

 Racial, religious, and regional discrimination shall not be portrayed in any part of the film
being submitted.

 Legal issues, if any, shall fall under the jurisdiction of judicial courts in Raipur,
Chhattisgarh.

 Any filmmaker, institution, or organization is strictly not allowed to use the ‘National
Road Safety Short Film Festival, Chhattisgarh’ name. ‘National Road Safety Short
Film Festival, Chhattisgarh’ and festival logo and official selection laurel for any
commercial, non-commercial, cultural, or personal use without the permission of the
organizing committee. If any person or organization is found to do so, strict legal action
will be taken against the person or concerned institution.
