As we gather to celebrate the 143rd Commemoration Day of the Salvation Army in Sri Lanka, we honor the life and legacy of Colonel Arnolis Weerasoorya, the first Sinhalese officer of the Salvation Army and a pioneer of faith and service.

“I’ll Fight Day” on December 6, 2025 is a Salvation Army youth-led initiative, where young people engage in "servant evangelism" by doing practical acts of kindness (like giving cookies to firefighters, returning shopping carts, or helping at laundromats) in Jesus' name to show God's love, inspired by Founder William Booth's call to "fight" poverty, injustice, and spiritual darkness.
