On 25th May, a friend, who lives in Kolkata, phoned me in distress. He needs our urgent support for bone-marrow transplant of his sister's 17 year son whose condition is critical after relapse of blood cancer detected & under treatment since he was only 14.
Bone-marrow transplant surgery is planned after some days and will cost Rs. 21 lakhs.

We have started the fixing of very sturdy 'Kota' tiles on the floor of classrooms & other spaces. The area to be covered is roughly 11,000 sq. ft.
In all, 4 mistrys & 4 labourers are involved in filling the rooms with coarse 'mitti', topping it with sand, cutting the tiles to proper size, preparing 'ghola' of cement, fixing the tiles etc.
We are running a fundraiser for the estimated cost of Rs. 1,80,000/- for tile-fixing & incidental expenses (excluding polishing). We have received commitments/ raised Rs. 50,002 and the shortfall is Rs. 1,29,998/-

Once, anytime during every academic year, may I request you to kindly GIVE a donation towards the Corpus Fund for our 'Project हमारे बच्चे'.
Until they attain the age of 18 years, we shall give scholarships of Rs. 22,000 to each of the 27 verified covid_orphans.
All the verified covid_orphans were below 10, some even 4 to 7 years old, during academic year 2021-22 when each of them was given a scholarship of Rs. 20,000/-
During academic year 2022-23, we shall give scholarships, each of Rs. 22,000/-
We have to create a CORPUS FUND of around Rs. 1 crore to provide scholarships every year to 27 beneficiary children until they are 18 years old.
