धारावी परिवाराचा प्रेमाचा ओलावा आणि आपलेपणा हीच माझ्या आयुष्याची खरी संपत्ती आहे. आज भाऊबीजेला माझ्या धारावीच्या भावांकडून एक खास भेट मिळाली, ज्याने मी पूर्णपणे भारावून गेले. तासन् तास बसून त्यांनी ७ हजार दिव्यांपासून माझे पोर्ट्रेट बनवले. अशा निस्वार्थ प्रेमासाठी सर्व काही अर्पण करण्याची माझा तयारी आहे. धारावी परिवारासाठी कोणत्याही संकटाशी सामना करण्याचा आणि हे घर, हे अंगण जपून ठेवण्याचा माझा निर्धार आहे.

We must stimulate fresh thinking & make the project more people centric. As the government makes a fresh bid to redevelop Dharavi,I demand that fresh public hearings be conducted to involve people in the planning and ex*****on of the project.

Make Dharavi revamp bid more people centric, hold fresh public hearings

Failure to prioritise the requirements of the local population has been the main reason for the failure of plans to revamp Dharavi. It is high time we stopped looking at it as a lucrative land project & bring the focus back on people's needs.
