The festival of Sri Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated with great joy and grandeur at the Gonda Manoranjan Sansthan of the North Eastern Railway's Lucknow Division, in the presence of Divisional Railway Manager Shri Gaurav Agarwal.
Approximately 500 members of the 'Railway family'—including railway employees and their families, as well as children from the Scouts and Guides District Association, Gonda—participated enthusiastically in the event. The birth anniversary celebration included the traditional Aarti and worship of Lord Krishna. Young children celebrated 'Kanha-ji's' birthday by cutting a cake. Various cultural programs, games, and recreational activities presented by the children and railway employees captivated everyone present.
The Institute's President Shri Ashish Kumar Maddheshiya (Senior Divisional Electrical Engineer/TRS), Secretary Shri Lal Bahadur Srivastava, Treasurer Shri Vinod Kumar Srivastava, along with all office bearers of the Recreation Institute and the Gonda Scouting team, played a pivotal role in making the event a success. The program was conducted by Ms. Priya Purwar. Other officials and staff members were also present on the occasion.

पूर्वोत्तर रेलवे लखनऊ मण्डल के गोंडा स्थित मनोरंजन संस्थान में मण्डल रेल प्रबंधक श्री गौरव अग्रवाल की उपस्थिति में श्री कृष्ण जन्माष्टमी का उत्सव बड़े ही हर्षोल्लास एवं धूमधाम के साथ मनाया गया।
कार्यक्रम में रेल परिवार के लगभग 500 सदस्यों, रेल कर्मचारियों एवं उनके परिवारजनों के साथ-साथ स्काउट्स एंड गाइड्स जिला संघ, गोंडा के बच्चों ने उत्साहपूर्वक सहभागिता की। इस दौरान योगेश्वर श्रीकृष्ण की विधिवत आरती एवं पूजा-अर्चना के साथ जन्मोत्सव मनाया गया। नन्हे-मुन्ने बच्चों ने केक काटकर कान्हा जी का जन्मदिन मनाया। बच्चों एवं रेल कर्मचारियों द्वारा विभिन्न सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम, खेल एवं मनोरंजक गतिविधियाँ प्रस्तुत की गईं, जिन्होंने सभी का मन मोह लिया।
कार्यक्रम को सफल बनाने में संस्थान के अध्यक्ष श्री आशीष कुमार मद्धेशिया, वरिष्ठ मण्डल विद्युत इंजीनियर/टीआरएस, सचिव श्री लाल बहादुर श्रीवास्तव, कोषाध्यक्ष श्री विनोद कुमार श्रीवास्तव एवं मनोरंजन संस्थान के सभी पदाधिकारियों तथा स्काउटिंग टीम, गोंडा का महत्वपूर्ण योगदान रहा। कार्यक्रम का संचालन सुश्री प्रिया पुरवार द्वारा किया गया। इस अवसर पर अन्य अधिकारी एवं कर्मचारी उपस्थित थे।

An inspiring event was organized by the Women's Welfare Organization, Lucknow (North Eastern Railway) on the occasion of Teachers' Day.
During the event, the Organization's President, Smt. Shruti Gupta, honored the female staff working at the Shishu Vihar (located at the Divisional Office) by presenting them with awards and gifts in recognition of their dedicated service and outstanding work. Gifts were also distributed to the children present, creating an atmosphere of joy and enthusiasm within the premises.
She remarked that the female staff at Shishu Vihar care for the children with a spirit of dedication akin to that of both a teacher and a mother, which is highly commendable. The objective of the event was to encourage the Shishu Vihar staff and to spread happiness and enthusiasm among the children.

शिक्षक दिवस के अवसर पर पूर्वोत्तर रेलवे, महिला कल्याण संगठन, लखनऊ द्वारा एक प्रेरणादायी कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया।
कार्यक्रम में संगठन की अध्यक्षा श्रीमती श्रुति गुप्ता द्वारा मण्डल कार्यालय स्थित शिशु विहार में कार्यरत महिला कर्मचारियों को उनके समर्पित सेवाभाव एवं उत्कृष्ट कार्यों के लिए पुरस्कार एवं उपहार वितरित कर सम्मानित किया गया। इस दौरान उपस्थित बच्चों को भी उपहार वितरित किए गए, जिससे परिसर में हर्ष एवं उत्साह का वातावरण रहा।
उन्होंने कहा कि शिशु विहार में कार्यरत महिला कर्मचारी बच्चों की देखभाल एक शिक्षक एवं माँ के समान समर्पण भाव से करती हैं, जो अत्यंत सराहनीय है। इस कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य शिशु विहार की कर्मचारियों को प्रोत्साहित करना तथा बच्चों के बीच खुशी एवं उत्साह का संचार करना था।

The North Eastern Railway, Lucknow Division administration organized a one-day ‘Ayodhya Visit Camp’ for railway employees from the Gorakhpur region. Held under the guidance of Divisional Railway Manager Shri Gaurav Agarwal and the direction of Senior Divisional Personnel Officer Shri Rajesh Kumar Gupta, the tour saw enthusiastic participation from 49 railway employees, funded by the ‘Staff Benefit Fund’.

During the trip, the employees first visited the newly constructed, magnificent Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Subsequently, they toured various famous religious and historical sites, including Hanuman Garhi, Sita Ki Rasoi, the banks of the Saryu River, Ram Ki Paidi, Hanumat Kund, and Bharat Kund. Throughout the visit, the employees deeply experienced Ayodhya’s rich cultural heritage, religious significance, and spiritual energy.

Divisional Railway Manager Shri Gaurav Agarwal stated that the railway administration aims to foster mental peace, positive energy, and cultural awareness among employees alongside their professional duties. This spiritual journey has infused the employees with renewed energy and enthusiasm.

पूर्वाेत्तर रेलवे, लखनऊ मंडल प्रशासन द्वारा गोरखपुर परिक्षेत्र के रेलकर्मियों के लिए एक दिवसीय ‘अयोध्या भ्रमण शिविर’ का आयोजन किया गया। मंडल रेल प्रबंधक श्री गौरव अग्रवाल के मार्गदर्शन एवं वरिष्ठ मंडल कार्मिक अधिकारी श्री राजेश कुमार गुप्ता के निर्देशन में आयोजित भ्रमण शिविर में ‘कर्मचारी कल्याण निधि’ के अंतर्गत 49 रेलकर्मियों ने उत्साहपूर्वक सहभागिता की।
इस यात्रा के दौरान कर्मचारियों ने अयोध्या में सर्वप्रथम नव-निर्मित भव्य श्री राम मंदिर में दर्शन के उपरान्त सभी प्रसिद्ध धार्मिक एवं ऐतिहासिक स्थलों हनुमानगढ़ी, सीता की रसोई, सरयू तट एवं राम की पैड़ी, हनुमत कुंड और भरतकुंड जैसे पवित्र स्थलों का भी भ्रमण किया। भ्रमण के दौरान कर्मचारियों ने अयोध्या की समृद्ध सांस्कृतिक विरासत, धार्मिक महत्व एवं आध्यात्मिक ऊर्जा का गहन अनुभव किया।
मंडल रेल प्रबंधक श्री गौरव अग्रवाल ने कहा कि रेल प्रशासन का उद्देश्य कर्मचारियों में कार्य के साथ-साथ मानसिक शांति, सकारात्मक ऊर्जा एवं सांस्कृतिक चेतना का संचार करना है। इस आध्यात्मिक यात्रा से कर्मचारियों में नई ऊर्जा और उत्साह का संचार हुआ है।

‘Station Mahotsav’ Celebrated at Lucknow Junction

In accordance with Railway Board directives, ‘Station Mahotsav’ programs are being organized at selected stations across the Indian Railways network. Lucknow Junction and Mailani Junction stations under the Lucknow Division of North Eastern Railway have been selected for this initiative. In this context, a grand ‘Station Mahotsav’ ceremony was held today at Lucknow Junction, presided over by Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Shri Gaurav Agarwal. Coinciding with the auspicious occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami, the birth celebration of Lord Krishna (Yogeshwar) was also observed within the station premises. A chariot featuring Lord Krishna and Arjuna, installed at the station, served as a major attraction. DRM Shri Gaurav Agarwal and Additional Divisional Railway Manager (Operations) Smt. Neetu inaugurated the event by performing a formal puja (worship) of the chariot.
During the event, Scouts and Guides children and artists from the Lucknow Division presented colorful performances based on religious, patriotic, and social themes. These performances captivated the passengers and the general public present at the station. The program effectively showcased Indian culture, social causes, and the spirit of patriotism.
In his presidential address, DRM Shri Gaurav Agarwal stated that Lucknow Junction station is a symbol of the pride, history, and culture of Lucknow city. This year marks the completion of 100 years since the establishment of Lucknow Junction station. The objective of the ‘Station Mahotsav’ is not merely celebration, but also to provide better amenities and cleanliness to passengers and to connect them with their heritage. He noted that the Division has successfully integrated modernity while preserving its heritage. Today, Lucknow Division is the only division in Indian Railways that possesses both a modern railway station (Gomti Nagar Railway Station) and an old heritage Meter Gauge (MG) line (Mailani-Nanpara). Our Lucknow Division is currently excelling in every sphere—be it passenger amenities or employee welfare. The Division's Personnel Department is continuously organizing tourism tours for staff, with an increasing number of male and female employees taking advantage of them. Let us all pledge to make our railway station not only clean and beautiful but also a place that offers a pleasant experience for passengers. Finally, the Divisional Railway Manager honored employees from various departments for their outstanding performance.

लखनऊ जंक्शन पर ‘स्टेशन महोत्सव’ समारोह आयोजित

रेलवे बोर्ड के निर्देशानुसार सम्पूर्ण भारतीय रेल में चयनित स्टेशनों पर स्टेशन महोत्सव कार्यक्रम आयोजित किये जा रहें है। जिसके अन्तर्गत पूर्वाेत्तर रेलवे, लखनऊ मण्डल के लखनऊ जं0 एवं मैलानी जं0 स्टेशन का चयन किया गया है। इसी परिप्रेक्ष्य में आज पूर्वाेत्तर रेलवे, लखनऊ जंक्शन पर मण्डल रेल प्रबंधक श्री गौरव अग्रवाल की अध्यक्षता में ‘स्टेशन महोत्सव’ समारोह का भव्य आयोजन किया गया। इस अवसर पर आज सौभाग्यवश श्री कृष्ण जन्माष्टमी के शुभ अवसर पर स्टेशन परिसर में योगेश्वर श्री कृष्ण का जन्मोत्सव मनाया गया। स्टेशन परिसर में स्थापित भगवान श्रीकृष्ण और अर्जुन के रथ विशेष आकर्षण का केंद्र रहे। कार्यक्रम में मंडल रेल प्रबंधक श्री गौरव अग्रवाल एवं अपर मंडल रेल प्रबंधक (परिचालन) श्रीमती नीतू ने भगवान श्री कृष्ण और अर्जुन के रथ की विधिवत पूजा-अर्चना कर आयोजन का शुभारंभ किया।
इस दौरान आज श्री कृष्ण जन्माष्टमी के अवसर पर स्काउट एवं गाइड के बच्चों और लखनऊ मण्डल के कलाकारों ने धार्मिक, देशभक्ति एवं सामाजिक विषयों पर आधारित रंगारंग प्रस्तुतियां दीं। कलाकारों की प्रस्तुतियों ने स्टेशन पर मौजूद यात्रियों और आम लोगों का मन मोह लिया। कार्यक्रम के माध्यम से भारतीय संस्कृति, सामाजिक सरोकारों और देशभक्ति की भावना को प्रभावशाली ढंग से प्रस्तुत किया गया।
मण्डल रेल प्रबंधक श्री गौरव अग्रवाल ने अपने अध्यक्षीय सम्बोधन में कहा कि लखनऊ जं0 स्टेशन लखनऊ शहर की शान, इतिहास और संस्कृति का प्रतीक है। इसी वर्ष लखनऊ जंक्शन स्टेशन की स्थापना के 100 वर्ष पूर्ण हुए है। स्टेशन महोत्सव का उद्देश्य केवल उत्सव मनाना नहीं है, बल्कि यात्रियों को बेहतर सुविधाएं, स्वच्छता और अपनी विरासत से जोड़ना है। उन्होंने कहा की मण्डल द्वारा विरासत क़ो संजोने के साथ-साथ आधुनिकता का भी समायोजन किया गया है। आज लखनऊ मण्डल भारतीय रेल का एकमात्र ऐसा मण्डल है जिसके पास भारतीय रेलवे का आधुनिक रेलवे स्टेशन (गोमतीनगर रेलवे स्टेशन) तथा पुरानी हैरिटेज एमजी लाईन (मैलानी-नानपारा) मौजूद है। हमारा लखनऊ मण्डल आज हर क्षेत्र में आगे है, चाहे व यात्री सुविधा हो या कर्मचारी कल्याण, मण्डल के कार्मिक विभाग द्वारा कर्मचारियों हेतु लगातार पर्यटन टूर आयोजित किए जा रहे है, जिसका अधिक से अधिक महिला एवं पुरुष कर्मचारी लाभ उठा रहें हैं। आइये, हम सब मिलकर संकल्प लें कि हम रेलवे स्टेशन को स्वच्छ और सुंदर के साथ ही इसे यात्रियों के लिए एक सुखद अनुभव का केंद्र भी बनाएंगे। अन्त में मण्डल रेल प्रबंधक महोदय द्वारा उत्कृष्ट कार्य करने वाले विभिन्न विभागों के कर्मचारियों को सम्मानित भी किया गया।

Customized vehicles (scooters) were distributed on a priority basis to 23 differently-abled railway employees working in the Lucknow Division. The distribution was sanctioned by the Staff Benefit Fund of the North Eastern Railway, Lucknow Division, and the vehicles were handed over by General Manager Shri Uday Borwanker in the presence of Divisional Railway Manager Shri Gaurav Agarwal at the auditorium complex in Gorakhpur.
The Lucknow Division administration has taken a commendable initiative for the welfare of differently-abled employees and to facilitate their commute to the workplace.
