Leader of Opposition 6th LAHDC Leh sh Tsering Namgyal yesterday 28th October 2022 submitted a letter of resolution to Honble CEC Adv Tashi Gyaltsen with the request that the said resolution be discussed and passed in the forth coming general council meeting on to be held on 5th November 2022. Sh. Tsering Namgyal stressed that 6th schedule is the only provision under constitution of India which will secure ownership of land, jobs, business, environment, art and culture of Tribal people of Ladakh. Therefore council being a temple of people's representatives should unanimously pass and support the resolution.

District Congress Leh organised the Annual General Convention today as on 09/10/2021.
Thousands of people from all over leh district were present at the Convention and had a productive discussion on the current scenario and circumstances of newly formed UT.
TCC President Shri Nawang Rigzin Jora, TCC WOMEN PRESIDENT Smt. Stanzin dolkar Former MLA Shri Tsering Samphel, Former MLA. Shri Deldan Namgyal Former MLC shri Nurbu Gyaltson, DCC President Shri Rigzin Ursi, DCC women president ADV Eshey Lhamo, DYC president Shri Tundup Nubu, Leader Of Opposition Shri Tsering Namgyal all the opposition Councillors, Municipal ward members, BDC's and many Sarpanches were present at the Convention.

On a 3 days tour of his constituency, Hon'ble Councillor, Saspol, Mr. Smanla Dorje Nurboo along with BDC Saspol, AEE and JE of PHE Department, inspected the works going under the Jal Jeevan Mission in his constituency.

The Hon'ble councillor in his extensive tour had meetings with the representatives of various villages and discussed issues faced by the communities.

Accompanied by the engineers of Rural Dev Department of Saspol Block, the Hon'ble councillor consequently drew up plans for solution and mitigation of the issues and discussed future developments for the betterment of the constituency.
