District forest department in Collaboration with Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Kulgam organised plantation drive
KULGAM, NOVEMBER 14:
The District forest department in Collaboration with Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Kulgam organised a plantation drive at JNV Kulgam.
To inspire a positive change by creating a greener, healthier future for all, the District Forest Department Kulgam under the banner of Green Drive J&K organised a massive plantation drive.
Speaking on the occasion, the Principal JNV Kulgam Kailash Chander reiterated JNV's commitment to environmental stewardship and emphasised the importance of making the School green and clean.
“Plants purify the air and create a sustainable ecosystem. Today’s plantation drive is a testament to the School's dedication to environmental conservation towards creating a green and clean school for a healthy environment,” the Principal said. Emphasizing the importance of collaborative efforts in preserving our natural heritage, the District Forest Department Kulgam underscored the crucial role of the Forest Department in safeguarding forests.
Present on the occasion were officials of District Forest Department Kulgam, Poonam TGT, Aadil Manzoor Shah JSA, Shabir Ahmad Parry JSA and other officials.
