Today on 0403-23 on the directions of District Social Welfare Officer Kulgam,Ms Snober Altaf (KAS),Sakhi One Stop Centre Kulgam in collaboration with DHEW , special cell for women and de drug addiction centre kulgam organised an awareness programme at NTPHC Gudder.
The team of One Stop Centre Kulgam awared about various services provided at One Stop Centre like counselling, free legal aid, medical and shelter facility to the aggrieved women irrespective of age.The programme was attended by Aww's,AWH's, supervisor's, adolescent and local women of the adjoining areas.
At the end of the programme pamphlets were also distributed among the women.

Success Story
One Stop Centre (Sakhi) Kulgam received a case directly on 1/03/23.Survivor name withheld w/o .......R/o Yaroo, DHpora` ,Kulgam made a complaint against name withheld alleging that on 23/01/23 a video call was made by respondent and few screenshots were taken by respondent .when respondent’s wife has seen the screenshots she makes enquiry about the same.Repondents wife later came to survivor’s home enquiring about the screenshots and their relationship. Now survivor wants to make clear their relationship with respondent before his wife.
After receiving the case, One Stop Centre Kulgam provided counselling to respondent’s wife as she was having symptoms of dispression.Later on both the parties were called before One Stop Centre and survivor and respondent makes clear about their relationship before respondent’s wife .All misunderstanding were cleared between both the parties.
Later on both the parties got satisfied as allegations made by Survivor arised due to misunderstanding.

Today on 28-02-2023, As per directions of District Social Welfare Officer Kulgam Ms Snober Altaf (KAS),One Stop Centre, Kulgam in collaboration with DHEW organised an awareness programme at Social welfare Centre Bugam.
Team of OSC imparted detailed information pertaining to women rights and also gave information about the assistance provided at One Stop Centre, Kulgam which include police aid, medical aid, counselling, legal aid and temporary shelter of five days. OSC also imparted knowledge about women centric scheme and the procedure to avail benefits under different scheme like Restructured Marriage Assistance Scheme .

Today on 21-02-2023:- One Stop Centre Kulgam along with DHEW and Special cell for women organised an awareness programme at Social welfare centre T.N pora and Govt. Health and Wellness Centre T.N pora. Team of OSC imparted detailed information pertaining to women rights and also gave information about the assistance provided at One Stop Centre, Kulgam which include police aid, medical aid, counselling,free legal aid and temporary shelter of five days. DHEW also imparted knowledge about women centric schemes and the procedure to avail benefits under different schemes like Restructured Marriage Assistance Scheme. At the end of the programme, grievances of the women were also noted down and assured them to provide assistance with the help of concerned department.The programme was attended by trainees,local ladies and adolescent girls.

Today, on 10-01-2023 on the directions of District Social Welfare Officer Kulgam, Ms Snober Altaf,(SAKHI) ONE STOP CENTRE KULGAM, in collaboration with DHEW organised an awareness programme on different Women Centric Schemes,Women Helpline 181 and DHEW at Handicraft Centre Shogund.

On the occasion, Center Administrator(OSC) and District Mission Coordinator (DHEW) made people aware of those schemes which are functional in the district of Kulgam, like Tejaswani, Mumkin, and briefed the audience about the work of ONE STOP CENTRE and District hub for empowerment of women. The team also made women aware that if they are facing any violence like domestic violence, dowry abuse, mental torture or any other violence, they can get help from Women Helpline 181 and ONE STOP CENTRE.

The main objective of OSC is to provide integrated services for women and children affected by domestic violence, sexual harassment, emotional and psychological abuse. Participants were also informed that the centre assists the aggrieved women and children by providing police assistance, medical aid, psycho-social counselling, legal aid and temporary stay for 5 days under one roof.
The team added that the District hub for empowerment of women is also integrated with Women Helpline Number 181 and the services and support provided by One Stop Centre.
