We proudly present our first event in connection with the Month of Karkidakom.

RAM LALLA KA BAALOTSAV

A get2gether for the kids where there is drawing competion, quiz, music, dance and more.

We request all the children around City Unit to compulsorily take part in this event.

The Quiz and Drawing will be conducted as competion events for children between the age group upto 15yrs.

If your child is willing to showcase any other talent, the stage is open for them. Let us know the same, let it be a small shloka chant, a bhajan, a song, a dance, fancy dress or any concept.

We will be sharing a Google form to enter the basic details.

The event is scheduled on 10th August, 2025, Sunday after 3pm at our Ernakulam Gramajana Samooham.

The KBS Ekm City Unit Yuvajana Vibhagam observed Guru Poornima as per the directions of District Youth Commitee by honouring Samooham Vadyars Shri V R Mahadevan and Shri Karthik (Thyagu). Both were welcomed with Chandanam Kumkumam, adorned with traditional Ponnaada by Yuvajana Vibhagam Central Zone Secretary Shri Vignesh S. They were honored by giving Panchakacham, Uthareeyam, Fruits, Dakshina and Podavai, Manjal, Kumkumam, Flowers to their respective Dharmapatnis also. Yuvajana Vibhagam President Smt Aparna T G, Vice President Mas Adithya Balagopalan, Mas Raghuram R, Smt Jayasree, Shri Ramakrishnan, Shri Ramesh Krishnan represented Youth Wing. The Ernakulam Gramajana Samooham Library which was not operational for more than 7-8 years has now been reopened by the Yuvajana Vibhagam of Kerala Brahmana Sabha Ernakulam City Unit and will be open to members soon. On Uthradom day, Youth Wing President Vignesh Suresh welcomed and addressed the gathering, Gramajana Samooham Vice President Shri Mahadevan, Secretary Shri R Ananthanarayanan, Joint Secretary Shri S Narayanan, KBS District Secretary Shri P. R Sankaranarayanan, UpaSabha President Shri J Subramony, Vice President Shri T V Krishnamani, Joint Secretary Shri T R Sreenivasan, Vanitha Vibhagam Secretary Smt Radha Sivaramakrishnan, Treasurer Smt Geethambal D other Senior members of Samooham and Youth Office Bearers and Committee Members were present. Hope all will make good use of the Samooham Library.

Dear All,
As you all are aware of Vacation Camp being organised by Youth Wing of KBS Ekm City at Gramajana Samooham on May 6, & 8, 2022 by Certified Trainers of Fevicryl and Experienced Teachers. This is an open invite to all the kids out there to enjoy and wisely use 3 days of your Vacation. Parents and well wishers note that we will be categorising to 2 categories after all entries are received. A nominal fee of Rs. 1000/- including Fevicryl Art Kit and Snacks and Lunch for Participants. The sessions will be held from 9.30am to 4.30pm. Registrations can be done in the following Google Form.
