About 19 years ago today, a Mongolian cargo ship MV Black Rose, 5 km from Paradeep port, sank in a suspicious 15 meters water level while waiting for loading, the remaining 12,600 tonnes. Paradeep Port Trust filed a complaint and started the crime branch investigation. It came to know that the registration of the said ship was over 6 months ago, along with the insurance and permit. It was even sent to the scrap yard.
According to the data given by Paradeep Port Trust under the Right to Information Act, the iron stone loaded belongs to two companies - A B Minerals and Rektor Mines & Minerals. The owner of these two organizations is BJD leader Pranab Prakash Das alias Bobby Das.
