Known as "Devbhoomi" or the Land of Gods to the locals, Himachal Pradesh is predominantly a mountainous state transitioning from the plains to the high Himalayas. Monastery and some holy spots of Guru Rinpoche are nestled in the Shivaliks Mountains above Tso Pema. I loved Tso Pema so very much, I was able to spend some time there during early fall in 2009. It made quite an impression on me; though, my lack of posts on this page do not show it.

If anyone is interested in being an administrator for this page and would like to add thoughtful quotes or photos (inspirational, thoughtful, reflective) that represent Tso Pema's beauty of prayer, reflexiveness, transformation from 'self' to 'others' ...
