A number of South Korean firms expressed their interest in exploring opportunities in Rajasthan and expanding their business in the state during the second day of the visit of high-level delegation of Government of Rajasthan led by Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma.

This includes several leading South Korean firms including Samsung Healthcare, LX International, Orion Corporation, Hyosung Corporation as well as Korean Stone Association.

• Discussions were held with Korean Stone Association for increasing stone exports from Rajasthan
• Samsung Healthcare expressed interest in collaborating with Rajasthan’s Medical and Health department for providing AI-based new healthcare devices
• LX International eyeing mining opportunities in the state
• Orion Corporation, which has plant in Bhiwadi, discussed growth plans for the state
• Hyosung Corporation is keen on exploring ways to localize carbon fiber production in India

Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma held a one-on-one meeting with officials of Hanwha Solutions and discussed the investment opportunities available in Rajasthan.

He also spoke about the investor friendly climate, upcoming new policies and steps initiated for ‘ease of doing business’ in the state, while inviting Hanwha Solutions to make investments in the state.

On the second day of his visit to South Korea, Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma visited Seoul Technical High School, where he witnessed the remarkable initiatives fostering student innovation and creativity, and met with the school principal Mr. Jobok Lee and other officials, teachers and students of the school.

Hon'ble CM also took a tour of the advanced technical centre at the school, interacted with students and experienced the highly advanced AI tech being taught in the classrooms. A presentation was made by the school authorities on the Korean Meister education system, which focuses on skill development and employment. The World Skills Competition, where Korea excels, was also discussed during Hon'ble CM's visit to the school.

Chief Minister Shri Sharma invited officials of the school to explore opportunities in Rajasthan and called for strengthening relations.

Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma today held a meeting with senior officials from POSCO International and SG Corporation to discuss investment opportunities in Rajasthan on the sidelines of the Seoul Investors’ Meet.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Shin Dae-ho, Vice President, Global Business (New Business), Mr. Seo Ohjin, CEO of SG Corporation and other senior officials of POSCO. The company officials gave a brief presentation about PSOCO and proposed to set up an asphalt manufacturing unit in the state.

Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma extended a warm invitation to POSCO International and SG Corporation to invest in Rajasthan, saying, ‘Padharo Mhare Desh!’
