A Historic Step Towards Stronger Rural Convergence in Arunachal Pradesh
The Arunachal Pradesh State Rural Livelihoods Mission (ArSRLM), successfully organized a One-Day State-Level Workshop on the Formation of the State-Level Coordination Committee (SLCC) for Food, Nutrition, Health & WASH (FNHW) and PRI–Community Based Organization (CBO) Convergence on 31st July 2026 at the ArSRLM SMMU Conference Hall, Itanagar.
The workshop brought together senior officials from ArSRLM and key line departments, including Rural Development, Panchayati Raj, Health, Education, Women & Child Development, Animal Husbandry, and NHM, to strengthen inter-departmental convergence for integrated rural development.
Key Outcomes:
Formal constitution of the State-Level Coordination Committee (SLCC)
Commitment to enhanced inter-departmental convergence
Strengthened communication mechanisms from State to village level
Collaborative initiatives in health, nutrition, livelihoods, rural asset building, and social welfare
Unanimous decision to sign a Joint Undertaking for coordinated implementation across Arunachal Pradesh.
Together, we are building stronger institutions, empowered communities, and sustainable rural livelihoods through convergence and collaboration.
