3rd June 2026: Day 1 in Progress | 3-Day Training on GRC, Gender Framework & Legal Redressal Mechanisms under DAY-NRLM

An intensive capacity-building programme is underway for the GRC Steering Committee members of and Blocks, .

Today's sessions focused on Legal Redressal and Response Mechanisms, covering key legislations and frameworks, including GBV, BNS, POSH, PWDVA, POCSO, and PCMA. The sessions were facilitated by Smt. Momota Thounaojam and Smt. Latarani Devi, Administrator, One Stop Centre, Imphal East, shared valuable insights and their relevance in community-level interventions.

31 May 2026: The Thambalkhong Thounaphabi VLF and Kongba Laishram Leikai Apunba VLF, under Thambalkhong GP, successfully organised a Free Health Camp at Kongba Laishram Leikai, Kumngaipat, YWC Lane No. 9.

The camp witnessed an encouraging community response, with a total of 209 residents benefiting from health check-ups and medical consultations.

Such initiatives reflect our collective commitment to promoting accessible healthcare and building a healthier, stronger community for all.

29 May 2026: The General Body Meeting of Immanuel Women Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited (IMWOMUCOS LTD.) was successfully held at BMMU , District, bringing together officials from , the Cooperative Department, cadres, Block Resource Trainers, and General Body Members.

Members shared inspiring experiences and achievements through SHG activities, showcasing the power of collective action and community empowerment. Shri Lalneo Tungnung, District Cooperative Officer, encouraged members to build a transparent, accountable, and financially strong cooperative. The programme also highlighted the vision, mission, activities, and future plans of IMWOMUCOS LTD.

Together, we continue to strengthen communities and empower women for a brighter future.

29th May 2026: A New Chapter in Community-Led Women’s Empowerment

The second Cluster Level Federation (CLF) under Haorangsabal CD Block, Imphal West-I, was officially formed as Phidam Women Multipurpose Co-operative Society Ltd.

Bringing together women from Awang Khunou, Maklang, and Mayang Langjing Gram Panchayats, the federation unites 206 SHGs, organised through 14 Village Level Federations, with a collective strength of 2,456 members.

This milestone reflects the power of community institutions built by women, for women. Through collective leadership, mutual support, and shared vision, the federation will strengthen livelihoods, amplify women's voices, and foster inclusive development across the region.

Together, communities grow stronger when women lead the way.

28th May 2026: Unity in action for a cleaner community.

Ngachei VLF organised a Cleanliness Drive at Ramva/Lambui, Ukhrul District, bringing together SHG members and local youths for a meaningful cause. As part of the program, 15 waste bins were installed throughout the locality to promote cleanliness and environmental responsibility.

With the active participation of 115 SHG members and around 50 youths joining in the afternoon, the event reflected the power of collective community effort.

Let us continue working together to create a cleaner, healthier, and more beautiful environment for everyone.

27th May 2026: A One-Day Awareness Programme on HIV/AIDS was organised today, at Kasomtang Community Hall, Ukhrul, by Manipur State Rural Livelihoods Mission - MSRLM in collaboration with MACS.

The programme featured an awareness session by Dr. Yuithingla Vashum, District AIDS Control Officer, who highlighted the importance of HIV/AIDS prevention, testing, treatment, and ending stigma. HIV testing was also conducted during the programme.

Around 70 SHG members and staff of MSRLM attended the programme, making it a meaningful and successful awareness initiative.

Together for a cleaner and greener world!

Lanleima VLF took a meaningful step at Poirou Khongjin Mayai Lekai, , in the fight against plastic pollution, especially single-use plastics, in support of the Swachh Bharat Mission. The VLF also urged the government to install a plastic bank in the village. Let’s all do our part for a sustainable future!

25th May 2026: The ITA Women Multipurpose Cooperative Society Ltd., Khurai Cluster, promoted by the Manipur State Rural Livelihoods Mission - MSRLM, proudly organised a felicitation ceremony in the presence of Shri Leishangthem Susindro Meitei, Hon’ble MLA, Khurai A/C.

Heartiest congratulations to Shri Khaidem Raju Singh, son of an SHG member, for securing the 5th Rank in the Manipur Public Service Commission Examination 2022.

The programme also honoured sons and daughters of SHG members who achieved First Division in the BOSEM and COHSEM Examinations 2026, recognising their hard work and inspiring the community towards higher education and brighter futures.

The presence of MSRLM officials, former Zila Parishad Member, Administrative Committee Chairpersons, community leaders, and parents made the occasion even more meaningful.

Together, we continue strengthening education, livelihoods, and social development at the grassroots level.
