Budgam, April 10, 2026 – JK Apni Party’s Budgam district unit organized a meeting of its women’s wing today at the district office. The event was attended by District Senior Vice President Mukhtar Ahmad Dar and other senior party Workers.

The meeting also discussed the upcoming block and zonal level elections, with Dar informing attendees about the party’s plans to elect block presidents soon.

Srinagar, April 9, 2026 – Jibran Dar, a prominent Budgam leader, formally joined the JK Apni Party (JKAP) today at the party's central office on Church Lane in Srinagar. The event was attended by party president Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari and other senior leaders.

Dar, known for his grassroots influence in Budgam, recently contested a bye-election from the Budgam constituency, securing over 7,000 votes. His entry into JKAP is seen as a significant boost for the party, which is eyeing future electoral battles in the region.

"Jibran Dar brings not just votes but a fresh energy and deep connect with the people of Budgam," Bukhari said. "His decision to join us strengthens our commitment to practical governance over empty rhetoric."

Dar stated, "I contested the by-election to give voice to Budgam's aspirations, and the people's response was a mandate for change. JK Apni Party shares my vision for development without divisiveness."

With his influence in Budgam, Dar's joining is expected to expand JKAP's presence beyond urban areas.
