The Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Assam, in collaboration with the Trauma Unit of GNRC Hospital, conducted a One-Day Training Programme on Trauma Care and Basic First Aid for traffic personnel of Guwahati City and Kamrup rural on Wednesday, 20-05-2026 at the CID Headquarters.
The training aimed at equipping traffic personnel, who are often the first to respond at road accident scenes — with essential life-saving skills for safe and effective handling of accident victims, with a focus on minimizing fatalities.
The programme was met with a positive response from the participating personnel.The initiative reflects CID Assam’s ongoing commitment to strengthening emergency response capabilities and enhancing road safety across the state.🚨 DGPAssamPolice Assam Police
