Science Lab Activity – Grade V 🧠👁️
Students explored the models of the human brain and eye during their science lab activity. They identified the different parts of the brain such as the cerebrum, cerebellum, and medulla and learned about their functions.
They also observed the eye model and understood the role of parts like the cornea, iris, pupil, lens, retina, and optic nerve in vision.
✨ Through this hands-on activity, students developed a better understanding of the structure and functions of these important sense organs.

Learning Comes Alive in Class 2!

At Gaurs International Evening School, we believe that the best way to learn is by doing.
As part of their Environmental Studies lesson on the Life Cycle of a Butterfly, our enthusiastic Class 2 students got creative with colored paper to make their very own caterpillars.

With tiny scissors, bright sheets, and lots of curiosity, the children explored each stage — from egg to caterpillar, pupa to butterfly. This hands-on activity not only helped them understand the concept better, but also developed their fine motor skills, teamwork, and love for nature.

We are proud to see our young learners turning classroom lessons into colorful memories. Because when learning is fun, it lasts a lifetime.

Our Grade VI students enthusiastically participated in a practical science activity to identify the presence of starch and protein in different food samples.
Using the Iodine Test for starch and the Copper Sulphate & Caustic Soda (Biuret) Test for proteins, students observed colour changes, recorded their findings, and learned how nutrients can be detected through simple scientific experiments.
The activity encouraged curiosity, observation skills, and scientific thinking, making learning both engaging and memorable.
Learning by doing is the best way to understand science! 🌟🔬

Today students of class III performed an exciting fun filled activity explaining different weather updates. They used two disposable glasses,sketch pens, scissors and other stationery to display fabulous art. It was a delightful experience to see them working in coordination, enhancing their motor skills.
Through this activity students learned about different weather conditions in a joyful manner.
