Sri Viveka Satyanarayana Swami Temple

Sri Viveka Satyanarayana Swami Temple Hindu Temple Kothalanka is one of the most famous Holy Shrines in India and enjoying second place after Annavram in Andhra Pradesh.

The temple is built in the Dravidian style. The glory and richness of Lord SATYADEVA was widely described in Revakhanda of Skandapuranam. This temple was constructed in 1951 on maha siva ratri day and idol was positioned on the same day ,The presiding deity Lord Satyadeva with his consort Sri Anantha Lakshmi on one Side and with Lord Siva on the other side took his abode on Ratnagiri, which i

s named after Ratnakara, son of Meru the king of holy mountains. After the positioning of the idol , people started offering prayers. Later a tiny temple was constructed. Five days of celebrations are conducted every year on the day of “Vysya sudha yekadesi “ as same as Ananavaram , follwed by lots of enntertinment and cuturial activities are organised. On the day of “yekadesi” Satayanarayana sway vartham” is organised,
Marriages are also held in the temples.and the upstairs of the temple is constructed in the year 1971 and idol was positioned in the same year. Currently the postion of the temple is damaged and lost its glory with nil income, as this is a private temple , we are unable to get the funds from endowments department and other trust aswell. As per the hindu darma temple should not be left over with out daily PUJA . So we are initiating a fund collection progarmme and trying to bring back the glory of the spirit.
