BJYM Doda Stages Protest Against Omar Abdullah Govt, Demands NLU for Jammu

Doda, April 11: The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) Doda unit today staged a strong protest against the anti-Jammu policies of the government led by Omar Abdullah and reiterated its firm demand for the establishment of a National Law University (NLU) in Jammu province.

The protest was held under the leadership of BJYM State President Arun Prabhat and District President Arjun Singh Rana, with active participation from scores of youth activists and local residents.

Addressing the gathering, Arun Prabhat strongly criticized the government for its continued neglect of Jammu’s aspirations, particularly the long-pending demand for a National Law University. He stated that denying Jammu its rightful share in higher education infrastructure reflects the discriminatory approach of the current regime.

Arjun Singh Rana, while leading the protest, emphasized that the youth of Jammu Province , are being deprived of quality legal education due to the absence of an NLU in the region. He asserted that BJYM will intensify its agitation until the demand is fulfilled.

The protesters raised slogans against the Omar Abdullah-led government and highlighted the urgent need to establish an NLU in Jammu to ensure equal opportunities for students and to promote balanced regional development.

BJYM Doda warned that if the government continues to ignore this genuine demand, the agitation will be taken to a larger level in the coming days.
