Purba Medinipur district is an important part of West Bengal, also it is most popular destination of marine tourism and sea resort to all over India. It has approximate 60 kilometres coastal area which has
charming and luring secnic beauty. It has low gradient with a shallow sand beach, gentle waves and pleasent climate. Several activities and programs are being taken up for development of the beach and the surrounding areas for the promotion of marine tourism. Objectives: Despite the marine tourism promotion, coastal areas of Purba Medinipur has been several ecological, economic, environmental and bio- diversity issues which have been regularly avoided and neglected. So the aims and objectives of this organisation is to address those issues mentioned following and overcome those issues with extend helps to administration.
1) Preservation of remaining coastal sand dune and tree from cutting and plundering it in the name of development, which works as a natural dam to tidal wave and balancing eco-system.
2) Rejuvenation and reestablishment of drainage systems and normalisation it with regular observation by extending helps to local administration to do so.
3) Preservation of red crabs and various species like wild life, migratory bird, flora and fauna of coastal area with accompanying local administration.
4) Prohibition of using of all kinds of plastics, foam, liquir bottle on sea beach and surrounding areas.
6) Preservation of sea beach by strongly prohibiting of movement of two wheeler and four wheeler on sea beach.
7) Limiting anti-social activities by helping administration and police with day to day surveillance and help to impose restrictions on movement of unprotected sea beach after evening.
8) Preservation of calm and quite environment of sea beach by prohibiting consumption of alcohol, drug and using loude speaker and D.J box on sea beach.
9) Prohibition of all forms of wild life hunting, specially seasonal bird hunting with arms.
10) Preservation of agricultural land by restricting it to illegal conversion and reformation to living or business land with the help of administration. Also prohibit illegal pond filling, illegal construction of hotel, shop, dhaba, vending stall, drainage blocking and address it to local administration to stop related activities.
11) Protecting conventional livelihood and develop livebility conditions of all coastal communities and extend helps to local administration to do so.
12) Organise awareness campaign to protect bio diversity, ecological balance of coastal areas and sea beach among coastal communities and extend helps to local administration to do so.
13) Plantation of huge number of coast friendly trees all over the coastal areas of Purba Medinipur on regular basis, and extend helps to local administration to do so.
14) Organisation of cleaning programs on regular basis to keep sea beach and surrounding areas clean and healthy.
