A successful awareness and capacity-building programme was conducted at the Conference Hall, Kalacherra R.D. Block, North Tripura, to strengthen disaster preparedness and community resilience.

The Sub-Divisional Administration, Dharmanagar, North Tripura District is conducting a Civil Defence Air Raid & Blackout Mock Exercise – 2026 on 04 June 2026 at SDM Office Premises, Dharmanagar.

🕓 Siren: 4:00 PM – 4:02 PM
🌑 Blackout: 5:30 PM – 5:40 PM
🚶 Evacuation: 4:20 PM – 5:00 PM & 5:30 PM – 6:00 PM

We request all citizens to:
✔️ Stay calm and follow official instructions
✔️ Switch off lights during blackout
✔️ Cooperate with Civil Defence & Emergency Services
✔️ Avoid spreading rumors

🚨 Civil Defence Air Raid & Blackout Mock Exercise – 2026 🚨

The Civil Defence Air Raid / Blackout Mock Exercise – 2026 was successfully conducted by the Sub-Divisional Disaster Management Authority, Panisagar, North Tripura, with active participation from Civil Defence Volunteers, Aapda Mitra, Yuva Aapda Mitra Volunteers Fire & Emergency Services, Health Department, line departments and local citizens.

The exercise aimed to enhance emergency preparedness, strengthen inter-agency coordination, and raise public awareness regarding safety measures during air raid and blackout situations.

Together, we are building a safer and more resilient community through preparedness and collective action.

The meeting was attended by the Deputy Collector, Dharmanagar, Master Trainers, representatives from Fire & Emergency Services, Civil Defence Volunteers, and the representative of the Chief Medical Officer (CMO), North Tripura District. Discussions focused on coordination, preparedness, and the effective conduct of the upcoming mock exercise.
