National Automotive Test Tracks (NATRAX) is one of the State-of-the-art Automotive Testing and Certification Centre under NATRiP, a flagship project of the Ministry of Heavy Industries, GoI planned under the Automotive Mission Plan launched by the GoI.

Effective leadership is not only about leading teams, but also about managing challenges, resolving conflicts, and building stronger collaboration.

NATRAX conducted an insightful “Conflict Management & Leadership Training” session for its leadership members, led by Adv. Bhavna Tripathi.

The session was highly engaging and interactive, covering both individual and team-based perspectives on leadership and conflict resolution. Through practical discussions and activity-driven learning, the program provided valuable insights into effective communication, teamwork, and leadership approaches.

A truly enriching learning experience that reflected NATRAX’s commitment towards continuous professional and leadership development.

NATRAX is proud to be recognized at ‘Sagar Fiesta 2026’, organized by Sagar Institute of Science and Technology on the theme ‘Roots to Rise’.

NATRAX, Indore, was conferred with the Sagar Tejomay Award for contributions towards sustainable development, received by Dr. Manish Jaiswal, Director, NATRAX. We are honoured to be recognized alongside Bhopal Municipal Corporation (received by Malti Rai Ji, Mayor, Bhopal), Eklavya Foundation (received by Tultul Biswas, Educator), and Omega Renk Bearings Pvt. Ltd. (received by Sushil Prakash, Co-Founder & Managing Director).

The fest was inaugurated by Dr. S. C. Chaubey, Kulguru, RGPV, in the presence of Shri Sudhir Kumar Agrawal, Founder Chairman, Sagar Group. It featured a dynamic mix of events celebrating innovation, creativity, and sustainability.

Director Natrax, Dr. Manish Jaiswal, while speaking on the occasion, stressed that global order is changing and it’s expected that future industrial revolutions will be bio-based where sustainability, circularity, waste to wealth, green mobility, green energy etc will emerge as the prime path. He further stated that it’s important for students and academia to not only develop understanding but also define problem statements in the newer stream, so that academic projects are derived which can eventually be scaled for real solutions.

The SISTEC event also got blessed by the presence of "Library on Wheels" - a mobile library project designed by Eklavya Foundation to promote reading habits among children by bringing books directly to underserved communities and villages. Director NATRAX, invited Dr. Tultul Biswas and her team to NATRAX to promote green mobile library, along with SISTEC leadership team.

NATRAX is thankful to SISTEC for their efforts to push sustainability into academia and also remains committed to drive sustainable development initiatives through innovation and collaboration.

Urban landscape with mobility rich ecosystem and clean air often don’t sit on the same side of the spectrum. NATRAX, known for its vast arena of test tracks along with its green cover, in contrast, offers a different perspective that mobility and clean air can co-exist.

Very recently, NATRAX took a symbolic step to celebrate this unique co-existence by hosting an exclusive Full Marathon on Asia’s longest-speed automotive test track, where nearly 400 endurance athletes ran the world’s first Zero Elevation Full Marathon on a track where vehicles routinely cruise at high speeds.

Runners described the experience as “surreal” and “the flattest, fastest course ever.” Many shared that the engineered zero-elevation track helped them push closer to their personal bests.

Hosting this exclusive full marathon was not just a sporting milestone – it was an important gesture to promote clean air, health and sustainable mobility — proving that at NATRAX, vehicles cruise, and so does the environment.

conducted an interactive session on Cyber Hygiene and AI Tools, with active participation from employees across departments.

The session covered key aspects of digital safety, including cyber threats, digital footprints, and real-life fraud cases, along with a live demonstration on social media security. Mr. Pranay Singh Chauhan from iSkillBox guided employees through the session and also introduced them to AI tools and ethical AI usage, with practical exercises on drafting content, summarizing documents, and effective prompt design.

The session provided a practical learning experience towards building a more digitally aware and responsible workplace.

Rally of Highlands at NATRAX

NATRAX was pleased to host the INRC 4W National Rally for the 1st time in Indore, organized by Blueband Motorsports and its partnering institutes, with support of MP tourism. The demanding terrains of NATRAX with high-speed gravel stages tested close to 40 vehicles for 100 plus kms of run for 2 days. The 2025 National rally championship, which starts from Chennai, followed by Coimbatore, Hyderabad, Kodagu, Bengaluru got Indore added in the route for the penultimate round. proudly pushed the off road rally benchmark and reinforced Indore’s and MP growing stature on the national motorsports map.

Aditya Thakur and Virender Kashyap won the rally, with Dean Mascarenhas and Gagan Karumbaiah clinching the championship, with final round still pending in Maharashtra.

Director NATRAX Dr. Manish Jaiswal, while addressing the gathering, highlighted the importance of a well structured constitutional framework and its layers of embedded values. He further highlighted how the rule based global order is again under threat and India should strengthen its resolve to become the shining example of this century by keeping faith in its constitutional framework and deep rooted value system. He further stated that NATRAX, being a relatively younger establishment, need to further strengthen its own vision, framework and collective values to emerge as a premium global testing and research institute, keeping Viksit Bharat 2047 timelines.

Celebrating 19 years of BAJA SAEINDIA at National Automotive Test Tracks (NATRAX)🏁

BAJA SAEINDIA, one of India’s largest inter-collegiate engineering competitions, was born at NATRAX in 2007. What began as a platform for hands-on learning and industry readiness has today evolved into a Flagship contest for Skill Building and Innovation.

In last 2 decades of its journey, the competition has grown far beyond the original mechanical Baja. The platform now plays a vital role in preparing future-ready engineers by actively engaging them in emerging technologies such as high-voltage electric vehicles, hydrogen-powered mobility, and autonomous systems—aligning student innovation with the nation’s technological aspirations.

As the competition enter its 20th year, , under the guidance of of Heavy Industries, remains committed to support the Government of India’s vision of self-reliance through advance skilling of the next generation talent. Platforms like BAJA SAEINDIA aligns very well towards that commitment.

NATRAX – National Automotive Test Tracks was delighted to host FMSCI INRC 2W Championship on 11 January 2026, with nearly 80 action-packed competitive rounds.

Organized by Anjani Adventures and its partners, with support from Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board, the event marked a significant milestone for motorsports in Central India.

With 3rd event in a year, NATRAX with its challenging terrains and wide variety of tracks is steadily emerging as a new arena for motor sports.

🚀 With more actions lined up, the journey has just begun!

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between NATRAX Pithampur and CSIR-AMPRI, Bhopal on 10/01/2026 by Dr. Manish Jaiswal, Director NATRAX and Dr. Thallada Bhaskar Director CSIR-AMPRI in the august presence of Mr. Manoj Kumar Madholia, Director (Auto), MHI and officials of both organisations for cooperation and collaboration in areas of mutual interest for the national development.

was honoured to welcome Shri Inder Singh Parmar, Cabinet Minister for Higher Education, Technical Education & Ayush Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh, to NATRAX. He was warmly received and felicitated by Director Dr. Manish Jaiswal and the NATRAX team.

Hon'ble Minister came as part of SAEINDIA BAJA 2026 inauguration at NATRAX - a contest which is continuously held at NATRAX, since its inception in 2007. In his special address, he made a passionate and compelling appeal for Academia, Students, Industry and Govt to come together and work towards VIKSIT BHARAT 2047. He also made a special remark that INDIA has to mix old age values and knowledge system in moder education system to emerge as Knowledge Capital of the world. He also urged NATRAX to increase support in the automotive skill development of the students.

The visit also included a short tour of NATRAX’s test tracks, offering insights into advanced automotive testing and validation capabilities. Emphasizing on sustainability, the Hon’ble Minister appreciated NATRAX effort in Bamboo plantation and also participated in a plantation drive at the premise.

NATRAX is grateful for Hon'ble Minister encouragement and advise towards strengthening skill development, innovation, and sustainability.
