"The two-day National Consultation of Children concluded with a reflection and feedback round, where children shared their experiences, learnings, and feelings from the journey.

Many spoke about forming new friendships, while others reflected on gaining a deeper understanding of child labour, child rights, and the realities faced by children across different contexts. Children also appreciated the interactive nature of the sessions - energisers, discussions, and activities that made learning engaging, meaningful, and enjoyable.

The consultation formally closed with a vote of thanks, followed by the distribution of certificates and a group photograph, capturing the collective spirit of participation and learning. The children then visited India Gate as part of a short Dilli Darshan, marking a joyful and memorable end to the consultation.

As this consultation comes to a close, one thing remains clear: when children are given space to speak, reflect, and engage, they contribute insight, empathy, and hope toward building a future free from child labour."

"Group 4 shared their views on how education, family responsibility, community action, and strong law enforcement together can help end child labour.

Children firmly stated that every child belongs in school and that education remains one of the strongest tools to prevent child labour. They spoke about the importance of children knowing their rights — including the right to refuse forced labour — and the role of awareness through campaigns and street plays in mobilising communities.

The group also highlighted the responsibility of parents to seek support during difficult times, avoid substance abuse, and stay informed, along with the role of organisations and local networks in identifying and supporting vulnerable children. Children emphasised timely reporting of child labour through helplines and authorities, conducting local surveys, and strengthening laws to ensure effective action."
